It is truly rare to find a family law attorney of Jim’s caliber who exudes such a tremendous sense of caring and thought when he is working with a client. I have had the opportunity to work with Jim on divorce cases in my role as a Co-Parenting Counselor and Divorce Coach in Collaborative Divorce cases, and Jim is someone that I frequently refer families to because of his depth of understanding of the Michigan family law system, and his calm, reassuring manner. He is very communicative with his clients and his grasp of the law combined with the attention he provides helps anyone going through the difficult process of divorce feel they truly have someone in their corner. He advocates strongly for his clients when necessary in high conflict situations, yet he also has the ability to collaborate toward reaching a fair and reasonable settlement in a non-confrontational manner for his clients when possible to de-escalate conflict and keep the focus on the family being able to move forward positively post-divorce. I consider Jim a trusted colleague and would highly recommend using him no matter what type of divorce or post-judgment issues you are experiencing.

I've been working with Jim for years and having worked with 2 previous attorneys, there are reasons I stuck with Jim. I dealt with billing issues and questionable guidance with previous attorneys - Jim exceeded my expectations on both counts and then surpassed the bar in all other areas. His billing practice was the best I'd experienced, he was mindful to detail expectations related to calls, texts, emails, filings, etc. Incredibly efficient in his communication and guidance, this lead to a number of successful motions. After spending tens of thousands of dollars on another lawyer who was supposedly the best but clearly was not, I hired Jim Chryssikos. Jim gave me great advice and helped me see my way through some very tough decisions in my divorce with his creative thinking. His billing was reasonable and he finished my divorce for a very reasonable amount. I am very happy with Jim’s representation and have already recommended him to others who have hired him as well.

For 15 grand he got me every other weekend and $1400 in child support through mediation. Absolutely regret his council.
