I was refer to John by another Lawyer after John heard me out he took on my case He was relentless and efficient well beyond expectations After being together abut 7 years married for 2 we purchased a home in Shelby twp. My wife had her cancer come back she told me she wanted to sell it because she couldn't do outside stuff any more I aggread. What a mistake she came up with a plot to leave me broke homeless and ruin my caricature John made shur that didn't happen. I can never thank him enough for everything he has done for me.. Philip Vera recently provided me with extremely unprofessional divorce representation. I HIGHLY discourage you from contacting him. To summarize - court records show he did not file a status quo order, he ignored multiple messages and emails I sent, did not communicate about timelines for witness lists and evidence filings, told me I was making a “stupid, emotional decision” during negotiation, refused to take my case to trial upon my request, and wrote multiple incorrect statements into the divorce judgment. It is my opinion that you find a different attorney to represent you.

He has connections, and prefers cash. Very unprofessional. He will make situations uncomfortable by making advances during emotionally disturbing times. With the possibility of jail, and no money for another attorney, you are forced to laugh it off as if it was no big deal. Do not expect quick answers, follow ups, or professionalism. He may keep you out of jail, but if you’re cute. Beware.
