John has been our family attorney since around 2005 and my business attorney for 15 plus years as well. We have butted heads on things before but I can assure you that he has your best interests at heart and that he is there to represent you throughout entire case. John is a consummate professional and I would recommend him to anyone seeking legal council for any matters that you have. Myself and my family highly recommend john and as far as I’m concerned I never need to look for another attorney since john is my attorney for life!

I would highly recommend Mr. Tatone to anyone needing a real estate lawyer. He provides excellent service and communication and is professional and kind.

Never in my life have I met a more condescending person, or one with such little regard for ethics. When my dad passed away after a battle with cancer, we met with Mr. Tatone and hired him based on a positive first meeting where he promised a smooth process and a low, one-time retainer. Over the following 18 months, he has charged us thousands of dollars more. A large part of that is his refusal to answer basic questions via email, and then in turn billing for each email he had to read and respond to as time and time again we tried to seek very simple answers he refused to answer off the bat. He has also been extremely disrespectful to me and my grieving family. He has called me names and on countless occasions accused my mother of negligence. He showed no compassion as during our time as clients, our lives all were flipped upside down. For someone who is a probate attorney, he seemed shocked and even flippant when we tried to explain to him that we are all moving, starting new jobs and uprooting our lives because our family’s provider died and that it was sometimes difficult to do the many, many tasks required in this process. He implied many times that our situation was unique in this regard, which I find very hard to believe. Lastly, this man is a liar who attempted to manipulate us many times. He promised that after billing us thousands of dollars over the retainer, that he would bill no more. Then when he did, I had him provide notice in writing that we would place a spending cap on expenses related to closing the estate. He said anything over the cap, he would eat the cost. THEN he had the nerve to ask us for a check to cover court fees when up until that point, he had always covered the court fees and billed us for them later. Do not hire this man. He is a snake and has made our lives a living hell.

Failed my debt collection case and pocketed the remainder of my retainer - "Dear Mr. [So and so]: A judgment was entered against the Defendant in the above matter on [such and such date]. To date, my office has not been successful in collection. Please be advised that I am now closing my file on the above matter. If you would like a copy of your file, please advise. If you do not respond the file will be put in storage in 30 days and destroyed after two years. Sincerely, John R. Tatone, Esq. I went through 4 lawyers before being referred to Laura Marji by another attorney in Macomb County. 3 of those lawyers wouldn't even touch my case due to the circumstances behind it. [It was a ROPA (revocation of parentage act)] case. She handled everything very professionally both in court and outside of court, researched every avenue and felt like she was personally involved and invested with my case. She's there every step of the way answering any questions you might have and goes over every option available to you at the time. I could not of won this case without her knowledge and help. I couldn't of asked for a better outcome and I would highly recommend anyone with a similar situation , or any scope for that matter, hire or at least consult with her on your case.

Laura is such an amazing and caring person to work with. She is so easy to commnuicate with and responds very quicky to all emails whether its day or night. I couldn’t have found anyone better to take care of my case. HIGHLY recommend her!

I initially tried this process by myself but I came to understand I needed a lawyer and Laura was great! She made sure I had the best chance possible in my case and she even found and corrected an issue with the States records of my criminal history. Being honest the only issue is that she seemed like she had a HUGE workload, more personal interest would be nice but that didn’t change the fact that she did her job. I would recommend.

There are so many good things I can say about Laura Marji, and her colleagues at Michigan Law Services I wouldn't no where to start. Threw one of the most difficult times in the life they were there every step of the way. Understanding issues is difficult for me or what certain words mean. Laura made things easy for me to understand. The communication and the fast response to calls, emails couldn't be better.
