I contacted Michigan Law Services to initiate a divorce, and after I had paid the retainer, I found out that I was already divorced but hadn't been notified. Phil was great throughout (and very thorough), and ended up refunding me a portion of the retainer, which I did not expect at all. Overall, a very good experience that ended with the outcome I was looking for. Would definitely recommend.

I highly recommend Laura Marji. She is professional and personable. She answered all of my questions and made sure that I understood what was happening throughout the case.

We had Laura look over some legal documents to help us understand what we were getting ourselves into with a Land Contract. She not only clarified our document, but she listened to our concerns and helped us to put into writing, a more clear-cut wording. She made us feel at ease. Be Careful, Laura Marji dropped the ball on my case multiple times. I have no clue how she has 5 star reviews. This women is totally useless in my eyes!! Please invest your hard worked money somewhere else & with a real Lawyor that actually returns your phone calls.

It was a total learning experience under the circumstances of the loss of a parent, and all that encompassed taking care of their last wishes/details, having and understanding a living trust or will, setting up an estate, and the legal/personal issues that effect the families on moving forward and settling the estate for the good of all involved, and John was able to go into detail and clarify EVERYTHING that was important to the family members and how we should approach those issues, what we should be looking for, and how to make it a smooth transition! He went far and above to make sure we understood everything! John and his staff was always easy to get a hold of, they returned calls in a timely manner, and when not in court, always had the time to talk to us and make us feel like he had our interest at heart! Much appreciated! Lastly, even though certain topics were hard to discuss and/or accept, I always appreciated John’s blunt honesty, which helped me many times over to move ahead in a positive direction!
