Prior to posting my first review, I was offered a $900 discount on my fee to post a positive review online. I do not consider this professional and did not respond to the request in the moment. I would like to point out why, as the firm has filed a suit against me claiming damages because of my negative social media reviews. Tim made suggestion to file a motion, which I agreed to, and the motion was never filed, and no explanation was ever given. Any public response to this is posted without my permission. In addition, I had a conversation with Austin, I know this because I was billed for it, where we discussed my ex wife removing my last name- Austin agreed and this never was done. Clearly I was misles or mis represented- if I am being billed for the discussion and no action is taken, I do not consider this professional behavior. Any public response to this is posted without my permission. Clarkston legal has posted rebuttals to my claims on social media without my permission, sharing any information about my case without my written consent is prohibited. I have screen shots of the responses already. Then they post to social media to "contact us regarding your social media post", yet if I do, they will bill me for that phone call too. I was billed for numerous meetings which I never saw meeting notes from. Stay away from this firm, or hire at your own risk. They do not follow good project management principles when handling a case (I don't get divorced often, so I rely on experts to help the process). They do not focus on client, and I think Tim is more narcissistic than my ex wife.

More focused on fees than client. They entered into a written fee agreement then requted to change it and did not follow spirit of agreement throughout my 3 month relationship with firm.

Most importantly, he was direct and honest about the process and all possible outcomes. Once we decided to proceed, his rate was fair, and in the end accurate; we did not even up needing to pay more money. He is very quick with his turn-around. He took all of our scattered thoughts and made sense of them. He was very patient with us, as we needed to course correct a few times which required revisions on his end as well. He went what I believe is above and beyond by offering to speak with the father whom we were pursuing custody from to ensure he understood all the documents and what he would be signing. Ultimately, we walked away from the process getting every single thing we had been hoping for in both custody and parental rights. To be clear, Tim would have earned a highly positive review and testimonial from us even had we not gotten everything we wanted based on his honestly, integrity, effort, patience, and professionalism.
