A absolute liar and scammer. Took my$6000 never saw him till court. Said he filed a motion to withdraw my plea via text and I have it. Worst attorney ever. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s office and and going to sue him

I highly recommend Ryan Maesen as an attorney. He promptly responded to my inquiry and was able to meet with me the same day. Ryan is fair, honest, and attentive, always following through on his word without making empty promises. I especially appreciated his transparency in setting realistic expectations. He’s a great communicator, whether through phone calls, texts, or emails. If you’re looking for a reliable lawyer, I strongly suggest working with him.

When subpoenaed as a witness for the prosecution in a criminal trial, through no fault of my own, I ended up in a bad situation. When I went for my witness prep meeting, I was literally attacked and by their threats, I was led to believe that if I didn’t say what they wanted me to say when I testified, regardless of what the truth actually was, they would charge me with perjury, along with a list of criminal charged. They claimed they had proof I was lying to them, although I was shown NOTHING, not even my own previous statements made when the police spoke with me with body cams recording in the course of their investigation. So proof of what, I had no idea! And to top it off, apparently to keep me isolated, I was told I could tell NO ONE about this meeting, especially NOT my husband or family! Now I’m 72 years old and never had to consider hiring a lawyer before in my life. In fact, I’ve never even gotten a traffic ticket! I was so stressed over how they had treated me, and what they had threatened me with, that I couldn’t eat or sleep for two days. (I kind of figured they had lied to me, but not being a LEO or a lawyer, I wasn’t sure, so I wasn’t taking any chances.) Since I had NO intention of lying for them, and with the threat of perjury, plus other I-have-no-idea things, hanging over my head, I contacted Atty Ryan Maesen. He was the voice of reason in all the chaos. Ryan was very attentive and empathetic to my problem and he knows the law well! He listened to everything and explained to me what they could and could not legally do. (Yep, they lied.) Since he did not represent either of the parties in the trail, he could not object to their questioning, but he did advised me on how to conduct myself and on how to answer the questions, but not what to say. He accompanied me to court and was right beside me while I testified as truthfully as I remembered. (It's funny how the prosecution changed their attitude towards me once they found out I hired a lawyer.) It looks like everything has turned out ok, but he said if they still wanted to press the perjury issue, there were things we could counter with. Hopefully, it’s all over and done with, and they leave me alone. I highly recommend Atty Ryan Maesen if you need any kind of help regarding a criminal case, even when you aren’t the criminal! And his costs are reasonable.

DUI’S and 13 years without a license made me look for someone I can trust to do the job. I spoke with other attorneys and either they couldn’t help or cost was huge!!! Ryan settled my nerves and got me through speaking with the judge. Not only am I happy with the results but the fee was something I could do. I so appreciate all that you did! Thank you again and I recommend highly!!!

Ryan was fully invested in my case from the start, unlike other lawyers I met with in regard to my case. He handled everything, kept me informed, and crushed it in court. He's approachable but a shark when it matters. He's my go-to lawyer should I ever need one again.

I had massive anxiety before I met Ryan. He was able to communicate quickly, email, phone and text. He didnt waste time but also didnt treat me stupid for asking questions. He presented arguments in a fashion which most accurately reflected the facts of the case.

I've hired Ryan to represent me twice on criminal cases. He got me outstanding results both times. He always returned my calls and he was *Never* late for court. The fake 1 star reviews of Mr. Maesen should be ignored on here. I guarantee you he never represented those people cause I have dealt with Ryan personally.

Once hired, communication was minimal. Options were never provided, case was never fully reviewed, and he failed to show up in any sort of timely manner to any hearing making us look like fools. Dishonest, disrespectful, and not on your side, period!

We hired Ryan for an issue with our juvenile son for some non-violent offenses. Ryan showed up late for court, without apologizing to the judge or prosecutor. When conferencing with our son, through the windows in the door, we were able to discern he was disinterested, and texting God knows who, and not listening to our son (his client) at all. When our son asked Ryan about his questionable representation, Ryan left my husband and I an UNHINGED voice mail, which I still have BTW. I wish I could upload. You can do better, stay clear of this guy.

Helped get a PPO against me thrown out. It was based on false allegations. There was a jealous ex-girlfriend of my boyfriend making life miserable for us and put out a false PPO. Ryan got rid of it.

I hired Ryan recently for a very serious case. The representation was at best poor. I am not sure how the reviews for Ryan are to be believed. Inworked with Ryan over a year and in that time he produced little to no value. He was paid and he produced results any law school junior could of produced. I found he was not in any case forth coming with any information. I had to inquire often and beg for details. Ryan should of been forth coming, he rarely ever reached out to le, I had to initiate almost ever form of communication. He showed up late to court on a regular basis. Never in time to speak before hand and rarely spoke at length afterward. I do understand that Ryan works for a lower price, but his effort is mimimal, even less than what he is paid. My overall suggestion, use with caution. Be prepared to be let down.

Ryan has very reasonable costs, and worked quickly. The outcome was better than I expected. I would highly recommend him to help you with your case.
