I would not recommend the attorney Bob Howard to represent you. He was the most dishonest attorney I ever had to represent us. Gave us false information in a third party custody case. He misrepresented the case to us, but charged us an astronomical amount for doing nothing. After wasting two years on the case and giving us false information . He told us that both parents had to agree on legal custody or adoption. Which was false information they just had to be served that the grandparents were filing for legal custody. My husband and I ended up representing ourselves in court with the help form the attorney at the Anoka county law library. That is how we found out that Bob Howard lied to us just to get our money!

Robert helped me out during a very difficult time in my life. I was going through a divorce, and he was very professional, compassionate and did not needlessly string things out in an effort to take advantage financially. Many attorneys get a bad rap for doing shady work and wanting to "stick it" to the other party. Robert does not work in that way. He stayed focused on what I needed and wanted and got the job done. I would recommend consulting with him in your process of finding a good attorney.

Bob was very responsive, respectful and compassionate. He assisted me with a child support conflict where I was not receiving appropriate funds as a result of my ex not paying what was required by law. He was very knowledgable, professional and calm when the situation required it. Bob helped me keep things in perspective and ensured I received what was due. I would highly recommend his service.

Bob did an outstanding job on my divorce case not only defending my rights but obtaining custody of my daughters for me, which in Anoka county is a miracle. A very smart person once told me that a good lawyer knows the law and a great lawyer knows the judges. He's fair, honest and a great lawyer and won't BS you into a fight not worth fighting, . I had four expungements that I wanted to get done One of them I guess I was technically guilty of, The other three I was not. One of them was a dismiss charge so that was relatively easy and straight forward. On the other three I refused to show any kind of contrition because I was not guilty of them, or the conduct was so unbelievably benign and originally overcharged and I couldn't show contrition for that either because it was ridiculous. So I pretty much was a nightmare of a client iny opinion, and I figured I would be going into it, and that's why I hired a lawyer to keep me in check and actually have the outcome I wanted. Elizabeth Orrick was great, and handled me well and kept me in check. All three of my convictions did get expunged, as well as the dismissal. One of the counties actually tried to use the dismissed charge against me as a reason not to expunge the one we were looking to get expunged in that county. Like seriously, I literally had a recording of me not doing it, and if had I recorded the other two incidents, those would have been dismissed as well, or at least dropped to disorderly conduct. The Sherburne County Attorney's office isn't interested in justice at all, they are more concerned about their own ego's or advancing their own careers. Anyway I highly recommend this Law Office and Ellie Orrick!
