Steven Rose called me to visit a property owned by his client. He said he would pay me to write a scope of work based off my inspections. He used that scope in his case and never paid me for my work.

Steven Rose called us in as an expert witness for his client. After providing all of our documentation and sending him a bill for the agreed upon amount, he told us we needed to collect from the client. We were never paid for our work.

Some expensive schlubs in Minneapolis took over and here I sit $10K+ in and my Conservatorship isn't scheduled for a hearing and it ended over 9 months ago. My father passed away at that time and they haven't even STARTED the probate process. Very poor communication. And last time I spoke to them I asked if anything had been filed to start probate and that I was probably going to go with another attorney on that part if it was not yet filed (not a threat, just mentioned) Now they sent me a partial months' bill (which indicated a final bill to me) and won't return my calls or emails at all. I know nothing about this process but I know this is not right!

Recently my husband was diagnosed with cancer. We were unprepared in many ways including the legal matters that we all put off. Yesterday the doctors decided that he needed to be admitted.
