She is overbearing doesn't let you explain what is going. Always cuts your explanations off tells you to stop. Talks about subjects not related to your case. I wouldn't recommend Stacey Wright at all. Totally unprofessional.....

She was helpful in the creation of custody and time shared while working with my son’s father. When dynamics changed, and I called her back to get guidance and the various angles that could happen and to get counsel (because well I am not a lawyer and am learning), she screamed at me because I kept misusing the word “custody” when the proper term I should have been using was “time shared.” People don’t learn by getting screamed at. I wanted guidance of what the next steps look like, and her choice was to scream at me. She said, “I am trying to teach you negotiation skills because it’s obvious you don’t have any.” Also, “You know what your problem is?” My son’s father emailed her, and she decided to call him and tell him: - I called her hysterical the week prior - and we were on the phone for an hour One word: unethical

If you are looking to hire J.M. Pawluk as your attorney, my strong advice - please, DON’T!!! I hired Ms. Pawluk to represent me and protect my interests in the process of divorce. I was assuming that her 30+ years of family law experience gives her valuable legal knowledge which would help me in my divorce procedure with minimal financial lost. Unfortunately, my assumption was wrong. Ms. Pawluk did not show sufficient competence in her basic legal skills/performance or any interest in defending my interests. Attorney Pawluk gave me a wrong legal advice which caused a lot of problems for me, she lied to opposing council, she was not prepared for the mediation: she hadn't reviewed the opposing side's documents! Neither had she discussed important legal points of the mediation agreement with me before signing. All these sloppy and unprofessional acts led to my significant financial lost. On top of it, she did not inform me about the steps of the process and was constantly unavailable. I strongly suggest: DON’T hire attorney J.M. Pawluk.
