Although I didn't need to hire Vicki, she called me and answered some very urgent questions I had. She even saved me from using my money because I am at the end stages of getting a visa for my family. Thank you so much for your kindness! I hired Vicki to handle my wife's immigration case. I regret it 100 percent. 1.) We gave all necessary documents for her to send in for step 1. But she forgot our passport photos in the copier. Caused longer delays for our case. I would think a lawyer should double check before sending in the documents. But not this lawyer. 2.) Didn't tell me until after I filed my taxes the first year that we needed to file "married but filing separately". Why would I ever think of doing that if my wife isn't a US citizen and doesn't live in the US? I had to amend my taxes and pay more in taxes including a penalty. This caused even more delays in our case. 3.) Due to COVID there were additional requirements added for immigration. Vicki did tell us about these added requirements. We did not agree with these new requirements. So Vicki said there is a waiver we could file instead. It will require more work and Vicki reminded us numerous times it will cost us more for her to do that. But we were ok with that. She also said we had to continue to file with the NVC before she could file the waiver. So we continued. However after she filed with the NVC, she sent me message saying she is not handling our case anymore because she is starting her own firm. We need to hire a different lawyer to continue now. And we owe her money. What about the waiver??? If we knew she was not going to do it, we wouldn't have continued with her working on our case. And really..... why couldn't her new firm handle he case? We already hired her. She just didn't want to file the waiver. 4.) I tried asking her questions about the added requirements and probabilities of our case. I am not a lawyer and want to know about getting my wife to the US. She said if I want to ask more questions she charges per hour. How thoughtful..... 5.) The last email she sent to my wife said- if you really want Brian(that's me) to be with you, consider him moving to your country instead. Lol. What a great thing to hear from our immigration lawyer. I recommend choosing a more thoughtful and professional lawyer.

Vicki is not a good immigration lawyer at all and I recommend you find a more professional and thoughtful lawyer. She only cares about money and doesn't care at all about you or your case. 1st mistake- She gave us the list of necessary documents needed for step one of the immigration. We provided them for her to send in. But she forgot to send the passport photos we gave her. She caused long unnecessary delays in our case. What kind of a lawyer wouldn't double check everything was there before sending it? 2nd mistake- She never told me I needed to file my taxes as "married but filing separately " until after I already filed the first. I didn't know that if my wife was a resident of another country hat I had file that way. That also caused long unnecessary ammendment delays and troubles. 3rd mistake- There were new requirements added with the covid pandemic after we originally started the immigration case with her. And while she did tell us about the new requirement asap.....we didn't agree to do that requirement. We wanted a waiver for the new requirement which is legally possible with extra work. Vicki kept reminding us numerous times that it will cost extra for her to do the waiver. But we were ok with that of course. Vicki also said in order to file that waiver, we had to finish filing the case with the NVC first. But after she finished filing our case with the NVC, she says she is done being our attorney because she is starting her own firm. We have to find a different lawyer to handle the remainder of our case now. And we owe her money. Lol. What about the waiver? That was why we continued our case with her in the first place. 4th and more mistakes- There are many more mistakes and examples of being unprofessional than above. Such as when I try to ask her questions regarding new requirements and probabilities, she says she charges an hourly wage to answer my questions. The last email she sent my wife said- you should have Brian(that's me) consider moving to your country instead if you want be together. lol. WOW Save your time and heartache. Just find a different lawyer to handle your immigration

Vicki is a phenomenal lawyer. She is professional, reliable, and responsive. Most of all, she is very knowledgeable of the system and process. Highly recommend her.

Vicki was the lawyer of 3 individuals in my family. We however finalized our agreement on very bad terms. She was rude, not compassionate and very judgmental. We were not familiar with US immigration laws and instead of teaching us about our options she would use terms against us like « fraudulent » « lie to me» quite easily without giving us the benefit of the doubt. I wouldn’t recommend her.

My experiences with Vicki Anderson regarding my immigration status change were fantastic, she guided me and my wife through all the processes, and was super helpful at explaining all the details of what needs to happen. If she gets some kind of government pay check, then she needs a pay raise, a promotion, something for how well she does her job. Brilliant person, couldn’t have asked for better service. If I have any future cases, I’ll definitely be looking to work with her again on them.
