I had a charge of "obstructing the Legal Process" and i thought i could handle it myself because it was so ridiculous but after going to court for the second time and not getting anywhere, i decided to try for a public defender. Lucky for me i got Mr. Garber. We met before my 3rd hearing and he set it for another date for a review and he told me he was going to try and get it didmissed. He called me personally yesterday and he got the whole thing dropped. He was very professional and straight to the point. Everything he said he was going to do for me, he did and did it fast!! I would definitely use him again as well as recommend him to friends and family.

I had a minor traffic issue that I needed help with. I didn't know what to do or what the potential outcomes could be. I called Adam and he advised me appropriately, was honest in his assessment instead of simply "telling me what I wanted to hear" and worked with me to determine a fair price for his services. Thankfully my minor traffic issue remained minor and I never needed to actually have Adam "defend" me, but I know I would have hired him in an instant if I needed a lawyer. He is super smart, and communicates superbly, and I felt as though although he always had my best interests in mind, he also set very appropriate expectations for me. I am hopeful never to need his services, but I would contact him instantly if I needed a defense lawyer and would highly recommend him to others.

I had never hired a lawyer in my life, but after being arrested for 3rd degree DWI, I felt overwhelmed by the potential penalties and next steps I needed to take. Fortunately, the first legal professional I spoke to was Adam. He answered all of my initial questions and scheduled time to meet me and my wife in person to discuss my case. After reviewing the incident, he informed me of my rights and how pursuing different options may look based on the details of the case. One point of emphasis was determining what the optimal outcome for me would be. After this consultation, I knew that we were on the same page and I was comfortable retaining him to represent me in this case.
I have a career and a family. My biggest wish was to not spend any time away from either of them. I told Adam my goal would be to avoid any jail time. Due to the nature of my work, I also wanted to avoid any inconvenient probation officer meetings, random urine tests, or monitoring systems. Adam instructed me to schedule a chemical use assessment so we could understand how my use may play a role in my outcome. He also suggested being proactive in attending a MADD panel as well as taking steps to get my driver’s license reinstated. I made sure to get out in front of the issue as much as possible and complete everything prior to my court appearances as recommended.
Adam had a chance to talk to the county attorney’s office prior to my first appearance. The initial offer met all my wishes for an optimal outcome – no jail or no home monitoring. I talked to my wife and although we were happy with the initial offer, if we could get reduce the charges to 4th degree DWI, the misdemeanor charge vs. a gross misdemeanor would be easier to explain to any future employer. Prior to my final court appearance, that is exactly the agreement that was reached. Not only that, but the fine was about $100 less than typically charged in that county for a 4th degree DWI.
I told Adam that although I’m not happy about this incident, I’m satisfied with the outcome. I’m sure every case and everyone’s expectation for outcomes can be unique. Adam is a lawyer who will listen to the details, find out what is important, and do everything he can to achieve what is best for his clients.
