After a dozen or more meetings with other lawyers, all telling me I'm screwed, Nick Leverson agreed to assist me with getting my rights restored. It's been 23 years, and they were the only ones that felt I had a shot. The price was fair, and even though it took a year (all on my end, plus the COVID-19 pandemic), he was very patient and understanding and fought for my rights restoration. Everything was explained to me in a way I could understand, and I received my permit to purchase today, so now I know that it went all the way to the Federal level as we expected.
