Walking into an attorney’s office for the first time to discuss divorce, I was sick to my stomach. Courtney walked me through what I could expect & made me feel comfortable with the legal process. Unfortunately what should have been a fairly simple process (no children, few assets & prenuptial agreement) was not, as my ex lied & manipulated the entire process. Courtney helped me force the sale of our home to protect assets, she proved my ex actually created the prenuptial agreement he was disputing, got his request for spousal support and his attorney fees denied & Courtney got the court to consider my ex having to pay back my attorney fees for his dishonest behavior. Once the court validated the prenuptial agreement & determined that my ex lied in order to benefit himself the court allowed me to submit a request for my attorney fees to be paid by my ex because of his conduct. Once that happened, we were able to come to an quick agreement. Courtney’s communication with me, the court & even an extremely unreasonable respondent was nothing but professional & she always focused on the end result. Courtney is extremely knowledgeable in family law, she was prepared for all deadlines and always available when I had questions.

Let's be honest - no one wants to be inside of a Court Room, but life is mysterious and never ceases to surprise us. Therefore the best we can do, in those circumstances, is to get the help of the best family lawyer to increase the chances of success. I was in a similar situation as well when I was parting ways from my wife. I took Courtney's help to navigate me through this complex process. My ex wife had falsely accused me of domestic abuse, sought order for protection for my few months old baby, asked for abnormally high spousal maintenance and many other things (other assets). Courtney successfully helped me to defend against her preposterous lies and unfair claims over my assets. I don't know if our case was the most complicated case of all, but it sure was important for us to have somebody who will be able to listen, understand and help us. We have met with several different lawyers, but we decided to seek help from Kristin and surely did not regret it at the end. Courtney has been a stellar lawyer and a consultant for the last 1 year. My own lawyer from the time of the divorce threw her hands up with the custody, but Courtney did not.
