I worked with Kristin on a number of divorce / child support matters, She is a great listener that can turn my rambling conversations and needs into positive outcomes. Kristin provided outstanding legal guidance as well as ensuring that my legal costs were efficiently managed throughout the process. She provided me with options and helped me make informed decisions. She was also very responsive whether trying to reach her by phone or email. She helped me think through various aspects of my case that I had not thought of. Throughout the process I felt very comfortable with her handling my case. Kristin was my 3rd and final lawyer used in my divorce process that took over 2 years with child custody issues. We spent 3 days in trial. Kristin was calm, respectable and caring with regards to myself and my children. At times I was angry and wanted to lash out, Kristin took the time to explain the pros and cons of my emotions and what it would mean to my case. She did not fill my head with unrealistic ideals that I would pull off a lop sided victory nor did she say it was not possible but rather was very realistic and truthful about my situation. I always heeded her advice and at the end of my trial when the decision by the judge was made I ended up with what we had expected the decision to be (50/50) which was better than I currently had. She made sure that I left my feelings at the courtroom door which is necessary when dealing with the brutal battle that was ensuing. After it was all said and done I still had some court battles that he was taking me into but I was able to consult with Kristin regarding those matters and get them resoled. In the end I came out a happier and better person. I highly recommend Kristin and although I will never put myself in that situation again I would not hesitate to call her again. My family and friends all agree that Kristin was my best option and we are ALL truly grateful for what she was able to do for me and my children.

As someone who's never been involved with anything court related, Kristin was a great help. She explained every step of the process to me, sometimes several times. I found Kristin Huston through this webpage. The moment I read her reviews I knew she would be the one to help me getting my divorce final. And the moment I met her I felt taken care of, for being in such an unfamiliar territory. She listen, took notes and really heard me from the first moment on. She was up-front and competent in explaining me her role and the next steps we will take together. She used terminology I could understand and yet did not make me feel like I don't know what I am doing. She accepted without any hesitation that I would provide all needed documentation pretty much finished with agreement upon both parties with little need of her help. Once the process was underway and I did come across a dispute with the other party, she was right on my side with explanation of importance or not important aspects of our argument. I never had the feeling of being pushed to make a decision not based on my needs or for her income. As the day of our court day came close, she walked me through every step on what would happen. And it all happened just as she said. Her fees are not high rocket where I could not pay it, yet not to low where I would be afraid of getting bad advise. She charges in a very fair way and I always got very well documented statements of her service. Most of all, even her staff knew me by my name and always knew right a way who I was. The only regret I have is, that we meet under the circumstances we did. She was so personal to me and I envy every friend she has! I would recommend Kristin Huston to everyone out there!

Kristin is an exceptional attorney. She gave me realistic exceptions and timelines. She never played into emotion and was always focused on the matters at hand.
