I have worked with Clay for over a year. I started to work with Clay after having a poor experience with another attorney. Clay was a breath of fresh air. He was straight forward, knowledgeable, and responsive. He quickly resolved my existing issue and has since done a great job of handling another issue. Stephanie thank you so much for everything you did for my family! We had a complicated case with a very difficult person. Stephanie answered every call, directed me on how to handle situations. My children's safety was on the line and you could tell she cared about my family. When it came to the trial she was very prepared, incredible attention to detail. Can't say enough about Mrs. Hill. I retained her for a custody hearing 2 weeks before the hearing and she was fantastic. I have had couple of attorney’s, but not one as professional, caring and sharp as Stephanie. Do yourself a favor and call her first, she will not let you down.

Hired Stephanie Hill to give me the best outcome from my military spouse who was adamant about not giving up any part of his pension. Separating other assets in our marriage was equally difficult whereby, I wanted to settle for less just to end two stressful mediations. I recently was heading in the direction of a divorce when I was referred to Stephanie Hill thru a neighbor. I reached out to her and heard back immediately. She was extremely helpful and accessible thru phone calls and text messages the entire time. I greatly appreciated being able to reach out and text any and all of my questions and uncertainties day and night during such a difficult time. She always responded in a timely manner. She was always very professional but also caring and encouraging on the tough days. Considering the circumstances and being such an emotional time my experience with Hill Crabb was excellent. In this day and age, it is hard to find people that have a great moral compass, good values, and high ethical standards. Stephanie embodies those as an attorney. She has an amazing knowledge and understanding of the law as well as a dominating presence in a court room. She made complex issues easy to to understand and has a great sense for strategy with difficult matters. Legal issues can be very emotionally draining, emotionally difficult, and emotionally taxing. Stephanie's direction made navigating the journey so much easier. There are lots of attorneys out there but few great ones. Stephanie is one of those great attorney's. You will be happy to have her on your side.

Where to start, Stephanie was wonderful to have on my side during the divorce. Our first phone call was over an hour long where she took time to get to know me and what I wanted out of the process. Not once during this call did she lose interest. She would always let me know if something I wanted was feasible or not. After she was retained she was very clear and concise on what she needed from me to move forward. She was very punctual when we set up phone calls to discuss issues, not once did she not answer when we had a scheduled time. She returned phone calls on the same day that I left them. Several times she went above and beyond what I would have expected from a lawyer. She would call to check in after opposing counsel would send over a less than favorable proposal. Make sure you actually listen to her when she tells you something because she is right. Several times I did not listen to her and it just made her job harder so when she says to do or not do something listen to her. As for price she was fair and reasonable with her hourly rate and honestly I would have paid her a lot more if she would have let me. Overall she made the process as painless as a divorce can be. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Hands down one of the best lawyers in MN.

I guess starting at the beginning makes sense... Before I contacted Stephanie I was completely lost, hopeless, and very confused about my future, having been blindsided with a divorce service while serving on Active Duty with the USAF half-way across the country from my now, thanks to Stephanie, ex-wife. Plainly put, I had no idea what to do as my spouse was asking for the world, and I didn't want to go through a "messy divorce", so giving in to her demands just seemed like the easier route to go. Thankfully, I listened to my family and started searching the Twin Cities area for an experience attorney who understood the challenges of dealing with these life changes while serving in the military, and the special issues that come up like the G.I. Bill, TriCare, etc. I used my Google and found Steph right away, swallowed my pride, and gave her a call. She answered the phone herself and talked with me for almost two hours just at the drop of a hat because I needed the help. It’s probably the best two hours I've ever spent, as I felt such an immense sense of relief that my future would be alright and we'd get through this together, in one piece, and that my spouse wouldn't get even close to what she was asking in her divorce petition. My ex was betting on me not hiring a lawyer. I hired Steph the same day and she got right to work on my case, absolutely without hesitation. Right away, I could tell Steph was smart, kind, and very understanding of my predicament, not to mention extremely knowledgeable about divorce law. I was stationed in Maryland while my spouse and kids were living in Minnesota, so not only could I not deal with this in person, we had to deal with the time difference and my night-time work schedule. Steph handled these issues as the ultimate professional. She gave me so much time and patience in getting all of my paperwork done, getting back to her, and figuring out all of my positions I wanted her to articulate in our response to my spouse's original petition. I can’t say enough about Steph and her staff’s communication, they were ultra-responsive to my many calls, emails, texts, etc. and were available 24/7, it was awesome… as awesome as going through a divorce can be anyway. She was a rockstar in our one mediation session, and finally got my ex to see the light that she wasn't going to get the world like she was asking. She plays hardball and plays to win, it's fun to watch, but she's very compassionate and nice about it, Minnesota nice, don'tcha know? Hiring Stephanie to help me with this most difficult of life issues is one of the smartest things I’ve ever done; words can’t describe how much better I felt after our first talk on the phone. She saved me from making a huge mistake in just going along with what my ex-spouse wanted, and talked me through all of our available options along the way with a ridiculous amount of expertise. I wanted to go to law school before I met Steph, but now I’m dead-set on it just to get as smart as her. If you’re in the military, or not, and going through a divorce in Minnesota I can’t recommend Stephanie highly enough, she’s simply the best and will change your life. And she’s really funny.
