Called to pay a debt. Listened to an automated message telling me they are trying to collect my debt. Talked to a representative who also told me everything about the call was to collect a debt. Call ended and I didn't even get assistance trying to pay them a debt. So they were unable to successfully complete the one task they are trying to complete. The situation is that I moved and needed to update my info. They told me to use the website. The website requires a payment to be processed to update info. My payments are automatic so I didn't want to make a new one to mess up any auto pay schedule. This also feels a little predatory and potentially an FDCPA violation if they are requiring a payment in order to update payment info needed to process payments that resulted from court agreed judgments. Looking into that now but definitely feel like a vulnerable consumer. This company had bogus 5 start reviews. The rating should be lower. I'm still just trying to change payment info to pay a debt. Unsuccessful. 3 calls already. This company also has an F with the BBB and recently changed their name. They have not responded to complaints filed. I will also be filing a complaint. Don't let the new name rating on BBB fool you.

You’ve been reported to the attorney general!! I left you a nice voicemail. You can’t garnish wages as you’re a scam company. Everyone do not acknowledge this company. They only send out letters once every two years to keep fear in you. Don’t fall for these scammers

Offered them 4000$ on a charged off WELLS FARGO credit card from 10 years ago. Originally charged off for 5000$. Now they say it’s up to 8500$. They turned their nose up at 4000$ then our car broke down. Already gave them 1800. Told them the money lawyer should have taken the money when he got a chance.
