Just completed my second successful lemon law case with Gadtke Law. They were great as always and met the expectations they set early on with the final outcome. Would highly recommend!

Pros: Professional, best in Minnesota regarding lemon law, fights for the underdog. Cons: Lengthy litigation process, sometimes had to check in with Law Firm to understand progress regarding my case in the legal process. In December of 2014, I purchased a used BMW from a dealer in Wisconsin. The buyers guide checked out clean and passed my initial visual inspection. After purchasing my car from this dealership, on the drive home I started experiencing issues with the brakes. The next day the car was in the shop and I incurred a bill of around $1,500. When January 2015 came around, I experienced a myriad of car troubles and had to deal with numerous repairs and conversations with the dealership. My finances took a major hit as I incurred around $3,500 in automotive repair costs within the first month of 2015. As a recent college graduate making his first vehicle purchase, spending $3,500 on vehicle repairs in addition to the downpayment for the car that supposedly passed inspection with no issues was unacceptable to me. I decided to take action and reach out to Gadtke Law Firm hoping they would fight to recover my losses. On January 28, 2015 I reached out to Gadkte Law Firm and received a response immediately. I was surprised to see how quickly they responded to my initial inquiry. I put a packet together that would form the basis of my case at the request of Gadtke Law Firm. I e-mailed copies of the vehicle purchase contract, buyer's guide, and vehicle repair records for review. Within 1-week, Gadtke Law Firm responded and said they would be able to help me. Throughout my year long process I worked closely with Todd Gadtke and Dawna Stewart. Todd was very flexible with my busy schedule and for months we worked comfortably together via phone conferencing and e-mail. Dawna was more than helpful in answering any questions or leaving messages from me for Todd when he could not be reached or busy with other cases. On October 27, 2015 I submitted my discovery responses (interrogatories). I was asked to list all people who had knowledge regarding my case and explain my situation in length via word document (in writing). It was my first time submitting a lengthy legal document to a law firm, but Dawna was more than helpful. Any time I had a question or needed clarity, she would break every section down and made the process very easy to understand. On February 11, 2016 I had a mediation meeting that brought the dealership and I to Bassford Remele Litigation Firm to potentially settle the case. The mediation meeting was unsuccessful as we could not reach a settlement I was happy with. A few weeks later in the month of March, Todd followed through with a high level of professionalism and dedication to his craft. He was able to get me an amount I was happy with and worked diligently to close the case. Overall, my experience with Gadtke Law Firm was positive. I was up and running with the legal process once I was able to submit all of my vehicle purchase and repair documentation. Although the process was lengthy, Gadtke Law Firm is like working with a well-oiled machine. For first-timers getting introduced to the litigation process, Gadtke Law Firm makes your individual process an empowering experience. You feel strengthened due to having experience fighting on your behalf. If you're looking for a law firm to advocate for your rights and potentially recover your losses, I strongly recommend Gadtke Law Firm. I can say that they performed at a very high level of excellence over the past year. The time it took to check in from month-to-month could have been faster, but we're all busy. We have work, families, and ourselves to take care of. Todd and Dawna were transparent with gaps in communication. I was understanding because they always returned my call or e-mail. Todd is not just the best trial lemon law attorney but he also believes in consumer protection and defending the customer's interests. I was dealing with some persistent problems with my car and frustrated experience with a manufacturer. After numerous visits to the dealership for over a 2-year period, I called the law office of Todd Gadtke. Todd was upfront with me telling that I may not meet the lemon law threshold, but he was willing to help and took my case. The outcome exceeded my most optimistic expectations. My car was in and out of the shop over the course of 5 months. I was at my breaking point with the dealership and wasn't sure what I was going to do with my vehicle. I tried to work things out with Chevy myself but didn't get anywhere. I was at work and googled lemon law and Todd's firm was the first to come up. At first I was kind of hesitating on if I would call because I was afraid I wouldn't have a case. After speaking with Todd over the phone he really put my mind at ease. I wasn't really looking for any outcome with this but I am glad I went ahead with this. I now can get a reliable vehicle for my family. I am really grateful for Todd and all the work he put in. I do not write reviews often but for Todd & Dawna they highly deserve the best review. I'm so incredibly grateful & thankful for Todd & Dawna. Their efforts & all the they do for their clients they really go above & beyond. I had a 2024 trax which unfortunately was a lemon. Todd & Dawna right away got to work fighting for me. I have a disability & Todd made me feel like I was listened to & heard. He Advocates for his clients & fights for what's fair to them. They were incredibly responsive & if I didn't understand something Todd would call me and explain. He was incredibly patient and he made sure we got every thing settled. He was honest and straightforward. I really enjoyed working with him & Dawna. They made sure every thing was easy & made it as stress free as possible. They'll be there for you every step of the way. I can not recommend them enough, if you have a lemon please call Todd & Dawna.

Thinking I would just have to deal with the transmission issues of my Ford Focus for the rest of my life... I was happy to learn of a Class Action Settlement for the exact issues! From start to finish, Todd explained the entire settlement process with me. The entire firm was ALWAYS courteous, professional, and went above and beyond to communicate and follow up with me. Todd was very realistic about how much money I could recover, and explained to me his fees upfront. My settlement was much more than we had expected, but just goes to show his desire to negotiate a fair and honest settlement. Todd and Dawna are great. They definitely over delivered on my lemon law case after my car was in the shop for 100+ days. They made a really complexed situation - easy, at least for me. I’m not sure what went on behind the scenes, but they cleaned up the mess and I am very grateful for them and all the help.

Todd and Dawna were so honest and helpful and the communication was great. Any questions I had were answered right away. I had been going back and forth with Hyundai for months, Todd gave me a dollar range he thought he could get Hyundai to settle for. Almost immediately Hyundai settled and at the very top end of the range Todd had told me was possible. I'm very satisfied with the outcome. I hope not to have any vehicle issues like this in the future, but if I do I will definitely use Gadtke Law again.
