This has a calming, soothing affect on me during a time that was anything but. I used Shannon for my divorce in 2018/2019. My ex-husband is extremely contentious and cheap. I did not feel that Shannon advocated for me in the divorce agreement nor in writing the decree. There were many things I wanted listed in the decree that I wanted my ex to help pay for with regard to our three kids that Shannon would not add. I later learned that anything and everything can be added to a decree. Additionally, Shannon did not write the decree in a way that I could enlist the help of Child Support Services to garnish my ex's wages when he chose not to pay me. Lastly, I repeatedly received duplicate charges on my bills from Terzich & Ort. I parted ways with Shannon in May of 2019 and hired another lawyer as my ex filed to take me to court. I wish I had used the other lawyer from the start.

I feel like I spent a ridiculous amount of money for someone that wasn’t looking out for my best interest. Every time I think about my experience I get a knot in stomach because I ended up in a worse situation from the lack of representation I was provided. I would never use them again.

Have worked with Tashya Rivera Martin in the past on dirty/ugly divorce matters and she was excellent! She helped sort everything out and get everything taken care of. The other lawyer that I had hired just made a mess and Tashya cleamed it all up. I wish I would’ve found her before the other lawyer! She is excellent with divorce knowledge and has some really good ideas when there feels like there’s no other ways, she comes through for you!!l

Last year I asked these folks to help me with an amendment to a J&D because my ex continues to not follow it and wanted to go before the judge to get some sort of enforcement relief. After spending several thousands to draft the motion, and presumably submitted prior to the deadline, I felt this lawyer was not representing me well for several reasons so I terminated our agreement (2 weeks past the motion submission deadline). The court date was 4 months later so I was looking for other lawyers while assuming the motion had been sent. Before the court date, the opposing attorney sent a motion to cancel the hearing because the original motion was never submitted. Meaning, this attorney charged me thousands to write the motion, but never submitted it. When I terminated the arrangement, after the due date of the motion to be submitted, they never informed me that they had missed the deadline. Talking with several other attorney's in the area, the reputation at this place is that they are really just after your money.
