I have referred many parents working with CPS to Rhia because I became aware of her as a CPS worker. Being on the opposing side, she has a history of being knowledgeable of the law in child protection, advocating, and diligently pursuing what is right. I sought her out personally for my divorce because I knew that she was knowledgeable about working with survivors of narcissistic and domestic abuse and that she was mindful of her client's bill, both of which I needed to be concerned about. She far exceeded my expectations and knew what I was dealing with. She helped me keep my bill low, remain faithful to my values, and, most importantly, empower me to believe in myself and my capabilities. This empowerment gave me the confidence to ask for what I deserved and what was fair in my divorce settlement. I have recommended her before, and I would recommend her repeatedly in child protection, child custody, and divorce proceedings.

Rhia hands down is a beast. She is a powerhouse attorney who is very knowledgeable and passionate about her work. She was able to get a family member in foster care placed with me in under 30 days from when I contacted her. She worked magic from start to finish and my family is forever grateful for all she has done for us. She was always prepared and went well above and beyond in exceeding all of our expectations. We had a very lengthy trial and she was an absolute rockstar. She was quick to respond and never made me feel like I was alone. Rhia is a wonderful and caring attorney. She will fight for you no matter how long it takes. I went through a tough custody/parenting time battle through Covid, that lasted 3 years. She remained strong, no matter what was thrown our way. Even in moments when I wanted to give up due to the stress of it all, Rhia talked me down and reminded me of what I deserved as a father. She is very smart and understands that ethics wins. Rhia continued to fight for me, to make sure I got the trial that I wanted. The end results weren't 100% perfect (as most custody cases aren't), but I got a reasonable outcome, and it was more than what I wanted in the beginning. I was very happy with her representation. I have nothing but full respect & thankfulness for Rhia. After 4 lawyers turning us away, she took my plea for help and hit the ground running. In less than 2 weeks she compiled all the facts and went to bat for us winning a complicated situation, one that DHS & GAL were wrongly handling. Rhia was so amazing to work with, she is very professional, trustworthy and a very sweet and easy person. During a stressful custody battle Rhia managed to deliver a positive out come, and help me as her client stay positive during the process. I hope to never go through such situation again but if I have to I would absolutely use Rhia again as my lawyer.

We already had went through a couple attorneys on our case and we actually had 2 other attorneys representing us giving horrible advice and making our case worse by letting the county and social services run rough shod over us. Then we were able to get into contact with Rhia. From day 1 the tone changed. She was always easy to get ahold of and she very easily grasped the ins and outs of a confusing case. She was able to do in a couple months on her own, what all the others could not do in 8 months. She got our son out of foster care, back to us, and got social services out of our lives completely.
