My case was a wrongful termination. I had a medical condition which required surgery. Two weeks after surgery my employer terminated me, even though the previous month my annual review was all positive and indicated everything was fine. To add additional injury I was over 60 years old yet not old enough to retire. Like most everyone in the year long process for justice, I was under enormous emotional stress. Kaarin did not get wraped up in my emotions but stayed focused on the case. It was clear Kaarin and Halunen knew the aplicable laws, it was assuring to watch Kaarin in depositions asking the right questions to get to the underlying issues in order to prove my case.
