I found Melissa Heinlein very amicable and conscious of my need in representing me in the State's action against my company. The Buddha with a Bite. A friend who had worked with Karim described him to me as the Buddha with a Bite, and that couldn't be more accurate. He's wise, patient, listening, counseling, caring and experienced. He knew what to give, and when to push. And when it was the time to push, did he! Not in a shark-ish way, but in a strategic manner that represented me well and got things done. Beyond his legal acumen, I appreciated his ethics, especially compared to the opposing attorney who simply wanted to draw things out to make it financially painful. Karim always started each conversation asking how I and my children were doing, and ended each one encouraging me to take the high road, treat my wife with courtesy and pay attention to my children's feelings throughout the process. Plus, he sincerely sought to find the best / fastest path to resolution because he wanted to preserve the wealth of my family, not build his. And at the end, he achieved a very good divorce settlement for me. Karim and his firm are just great. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I was very happy with the services provided by Lord and Heinlein. I was in a bicycle crash with a big name delivery service that was self insured, with a team of lawyers to ward off such claims. By myself, I would have been buried by their bureaucracy. Working with M. Heinlein, we compiled the necessary documentation and pursued the matter, ultimately reaching a fair settlement for the damages. I was kept informed of progress and what information was needed to move forward with our claim.
