Paul Livgard handled a social security disability appeal case on behalf of my wife. It was a very complex case with a variety of issues. Livgaard & Lloyd handled my Social Security disability appeal. From the time I signed on until the hearing, almost two years, I believe I received two phone calls and neither from a lawyer. The second call, was to make sure I knew how to get to the hearing location. I was asked to get to the hearing an hour early so I could discuss my disability with the lawyer. Twenty minutes before the hearing, still no lawyer. We talked for a few minutes before the the hearing and we won the appeal. I have an appeal with Hartford Insurance over long term disability. I asked the lawyer to call me the following week to discuss it. Guess what, no call. Three weeks later I called Livgaard and Lloyd and talked to my lawyer. I received the contract via US Mail. She called to discussed the contract and I asked the lawyer to let me think about it for a week because L&L hadn't been good about communicating. I asked her to call me the following week, no call. Six weeks later she called and told me she was leaving the firm. She said that Mr Lloyd would be handling my case and he would call the following week. A month later I called and left a message that my appeal filing date was approaching and asked Me Lloyd to call, no call. Yesterday I filled the appeal myself. Now it's time to find a GOOD lawyer.

Ssi said I could going back to work after 8yr off work do to abdominal pain.
