One of the worst lawyers you can find. Do NOT hire this lawyer for any of your criminal cases! She was not helpful with my case AT ALL! She first told me she would charge $2500 for my case and ended up charging me $7500. She even knew my case was federal and decided to take my money even though she knew my case would eventually get dropped. I did not know that at the time. She did not answer any of my questions. When I called her, all she would said was, “call my assistant at the office.” I had one of my hearings in the morning at Anoka and she did not show up! I called her and asked her where she was and her response was, “call my assistant.” Extremely unprofessional! She will belittle you if she gets the chance. This lawyer does not care about you. What she cares about is the money and that’s all! Find a better and different lawyer! Edit 11/12/22: I have witnesses to prove that you never showed up to my court date. I have screen shots of you changing your response to this post, as well. First you said you don’t represent federal cases but hours later you do claim to take them. And you also said you represented me over 10 years ago when my case was only from 2018-2019. Now how was that more than 10 years ago? Unless math has changed since I was last in school. It just proves to me that you don’t know what you’re talking about and you do not care about your clients whatsoever. Your story keeps changing and it makes you look so unreliable and proves what I’m saying. If you edited your post why did you not let others see that you did or at least make it known? Please beware of this attorney and invest your money elsewhere. I worked also with your collegue, Robert, from the same building and he was a million times better and responsive than you. I will actually be writing a good review for him. Edit: Proof of how bad this lawyer is. She lies and does not know what she is talking about. This was her first response before she changed her response to the current. Look at the bad reviews she has received. Everyone has been saying how she lies.

I fired Judith Samson 9 days after I hired her because my experience with her was awful. I didn't expect a miracles, but I expected that she would at least TRY to help my son, or at the very least answer mine or my sons calls. After she took our money, everything changed. She became very rude, condescending, and very hurtful to me. She got very impatient and annoyed with me the few times I spoke to her because I have an accent and had to keep repeating myself. She treated me like i was beneath her and added more stress to this very stressful situation . Im a single mother who does not have much money to spare on legal fees , but I had no choice but to fire her and hire someone else because I could not have this person represent my son. After I fired her She refused to refund me any of my money and had the nerve to say I owed her MORE money. I asked her what she did to earn tbousands of dollars over 9 days and she showed me a list of fees saying she earned $1,035 just for communication with friends and family's, though she didn't respond to texts or answer my calls!!!! She never once visited my son in jail, or answered a call from him. I have never done a review Before but I'm in shock by my experience with this law firm and I pray that no one else has a similar experience with her. Avoid at all cost!!

Judy is an absolutely phenomenal attorney to work with. I have retained counsel with her twice now and have been completely in shock by her results driven - no non sense approach. Judith Samson is the best attorney I have ever hired to represent me on a legal matter. I came to Judith for help obtaining a Harassment Restraining Order (HRO) against a third party that was causing harm to my personal and professional life. From my first call with Judith through the day I was awarded my HRO, her knowledge and skill in handling these types of proceedings was highly evident. No doubt in my mind Chris Ritts is a decent attorney but at the end of the day, like most lawyers, he just cares about his bottom dollar. I was connected with Chris through LegalMatch about representing my girlfriend. I thought she should go with him but ultimately she did not like his vibes. He sounded caring up front, but he kept pushing the envelope about money. That turned us off. We eventually found another lawyer. About a year later, I put another case up on legal match about a traffic matter. Once again, Chris was the first to respond. He called me, then immediately hung up. He texted me asking what’s going on, saying “I consulted with you before”. I reminded him that in both occasions he reached out to me first. He ultimately said traffic court stuff is not worth his time and to get a more “local guy”. This shows he’s still salty from not going with him the first time. If this is the type of person he is, just know who you’re getting in bed with.

Judith helped me with my case seamlessly. I was so stressed out about my situation and Judith took care of me with such respect and knowledge that it really made my worries subside. She treated me with empathy and kindness and resolved my case very quickly. I will reccoment Judith to anyone I know who needs her services. She offers very fair rates and requires little from you as she works with you.
