I can't express how grateful I am to Judith Samson for her diligence and skills. My case was resolved without the need for a court appearance, saving me both time and unnecessary stress. We needed a no nonsense tough attorney to help my daughter deal with her soon to be difficult ex-husband. Judy did not allow him to play any games in court and was able to get the OFP against her dismissed. She was always available to answer questions and she was just what we needed.

Judith was completely dishonest with us. We had to fire her. She sent over a plea bargain on July 14th, 2023 that she said the DA agreed to this plea and then 2 months later on September 11th she advised us the DA didn’t agree to the plea…. She assumed it… She even filed the plea with the courts without my husband being advised of his rights. We have everything in writing. Never did I ever make a false statement. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous the way you pressed us for money before the holidays last year. There was NO false statements as all of which we have documented. Slander putting words in my mouth that is false as you like to say I wish you the best.

Judith, what can I say you are literally amazing, not only are you a great lawyer but also a great person thank you for always giving our family reassurance & always being there to answer any questions no matter what time of day. Previously we had a public defender and we didn’t think it was the best decision to have one anymore because they seemed overworked and impossible to communicate with and not in our best interest and after the first 2 hearings we realized this wasn’t going well and to probably start looking to hire a lawyer. Best decision we made was hiring Judy. From the first time we met Judy and out of all the lawyers we spoke to the one thing that definitely stood out was her confidence. When we went into her office she was completely honest, went straight to the point and gave us 2 options and what those 2 options could possibly look like & told us what she thinks is the better option and from there we followed in her footstep. Judy made this whole experience for our family as smooth and easy as possible. She was dealing with a juvenile and with juvenile court it can definitely be tough not having a Jury & that was one of our worries as well. She came into courtroom each time with full confidence, fighting for us, watching her getting to know the people in the court room, she definitely knew what she was doing & definitely was a different experience from when we had a PD. She did everything she could to make sure that our case would get resolved as quickly as possible to get my sibling released & back home and in the end that’s exactly what she did! Not only that but she was able to get 1 out of the 2 charges dismissed! We are so thankful for you and so is my brother! Judith lied regarding the plea bargain and even submitted it to the courts without the DA agreeing or being advised of rights. When confronted she said she assumed the DA agreed. Not only did we receive ineffective counsel but we were lied to by our defense lawyer who we paid. She has been reported to Minnesota Professional Board of Responsibility. She shouldn’t be allowed to practice law in the State of MN if she is lying to her own clients. Several times she stated work release was the plea agreement from the DA and after two months and our understanding work release was the plea deal from the DA she came back and said the DA didn’t agree to work release and she only assumed they did. This is totally unethical.

Absolutely amazing. If you need legal assistance, I would highly recommend her. She was able to resolve my case without me even needing to step into the courthouse.

Judy did an exceptional job representing me in a HRO case. Not only did she help me secure a permanent HRO, she also had the counter HRO that had maliciously been brought against me dismissed without prejudice. She is adept at cutting through extraneous information and presenting the facts. Her prowess in the courtroom is impressive. I recommend Judy whole heatedly; I hope I won't need her services again, but if I do, I would hire her again without hesitation.
