I hired Howard after a one on one consult to represent me in a age discrimination/unlawful firing complaint against an employer. Howard was always happy to answer any questions/concerns I had at any given time and always returned my emails or calls in an expedient manner. I was extremely happy with the outcome and highly recommend that you hire Howard Bolter as your attorney. (Plus he looks very dashing in his bow ties!!!).

I was privileged to be able to work with Howard Bolter who handled an employment case for me recently. I found Mr. Bolter to be a very capable and knowledgeable attorney who pursued my case as though it were his only case. Not only did I find Mr. Bolter to be an excellent attorney, but he was also thorough, professional, concerned, and caring. He always maintained regular contact regarding my case, he was quick to proceed with the next steps while keeping me advised during every step of the negotiation process, and he worked tirelessly to serve his client in the best manner I could have expected. On a personal note, I also found Mr. Bolter to be a true gentleman in all of his endeavors. I would highly recommend that should anyone have the need for an attorney with Mr. Bolter’s expertise that they call him immediately. Should I ever have a need for counsel in this area in the future, Mr. Bolter will be my first and only call.

Mr. Bolter was incredibly helpful to me when seeking his counsel. He contacted me via phone first to get an overview of the situation. After doing so, I hired him to look further into my case. He was diligent about his research and was able to provide me sound advice on how to advance. I took his direction each time and am very happy with the outcome. I would absolutely recommend Mr. Bolter for anyone seeking counsel regarding employment law. He took great care in my situation and was able to help me quickly and successfully put my case to rest.

I have stage IV breast cancer and was put on long term disability from my current employer. After a year of strong chemo and continuous significant side effects from the radiation and chemo, my disability company denied my coverage. I tried on my own to fight for the appeal to be overturned with no success. That is when I hired Howard Bolter. Howard worked painlessly with me and my medical team to gather information and statements from my medical doctors that supported my long term disability. Howard submitted the first appeal and Prudential denied me again. Howard suggested we gather more information from my medical team and try one more appeal. We Won! This is not an easy process, but Howard hung in there with me all the way, 13 months. Cancer is hard enough to fight without the long term disability companies making it worse. I would recommend Howard if you are fighting any discrimination or employee benefits issues.

While I have no problem with Mr. Bolter's demeanor, I hired Mr. Bolter for an employment law case but I don't feel I was adequately represented and that my interests were not kept at the forefront of proceedings. For example, accusations made by the adversarial parties, were not verified or investigated and as a result my case was dismissed.

I am an independent contractor - commissioned sales rep - and wanted advice about choice of law and where would be the best location to file a lawsuit for unpaid commissions. Craig helped me by analyzing my potential claim and the applicabilty of Minnesota laws to my case. Specifically, he addressed the Minnesota Termination of Sales Representatives Act and Minnesota Statutes 181.145 as it might apply to a contractor not located in or having territory including Minnesota (the company not paying commissions is located in MN). He was able to boild down a stack of paperwork to the most important details in a very short period of time. Craig was honest, clear, puctual and truly had my best interests in mind during our meetings. The entire staff, especially Kelly Fiege, were very helpful and supportive. I recommend Craig for any contract or commision related dispute that a person may have.
