I had counseled with several other attorneys prior to my initial consultation with Ms. Tuzinski. I was immediately impressed with Jeanette's knowledge, confidence, & genuine empathy, and I did not hesitate to retain her services. I was referred to Jeanette through my employer's Employee Assistance Program which provided me with a free consultation and a reduced fee structure. I had also received positive recommendations from two other professional acquaintances which solidified my decision in utilizing Jeanette's expertise. My divorce situation was complicated, and traditional spousal maintenance and settlement agreements required a creative approach which would not jeopardize my then spouse's medical assistance benefits. She was able to navigate the legal challenges without difficulty or hesitation. Her professionalism resulted in the court's approval of my judgement and decree without a court appearance, clarification, or modification becoming necessary. I am relieved that Ms Tuzinski was my legal representative. I would encourage you to retain her services while you have time, and most definitely, before your spouse tries to do the same.

I recently hired Jeanette for my child custody case. In dealing with something that is emotional and uncomfortable, she was able to make things as easy and problem free as possible. She was always easy to get a hold of and answered my questions quickly and knowledgeably. She was professional but also friendly. Even though it's a tough situation to be in, having Jeanette next to me made me feel like it would be OK and we even had a few laughs along the way.

When I came to the difficult decision to divorce my now ex wife last year I came to avvo.com to find a reputable attorney considering I knew that my ex was going to be playing dirty. I consulted and contacted 3 different attorneys to decide who I could afford and who was also knowledgeable with the situation I was about to deal with. One was knowledgeable but far out of what I could afford. One didn't seem to care. Then I called Jeanette. She made me feel like I could trust her (especially with my trust being very low this is big for me). She gave me advice about things I should AND should not do. I had about as good of an outcome as I could ask for considering my ex would have dragged our case out until I was bankrupt. Some things went how i hoped and some didn't. But when does a divorce go how you would like? I have kept Jeanette in my contacts for future advice and representation. When I decided to divorce with two young children, I thought we would each hire attorneys and settle within a few months. My situation turned very scary very quickly and Jeanette has been there every step of the way to help me, listen to me, encourage me, and has fought for what's right for me and my children during the most horrible time in our lives. She has been able to navigate every road block and obstacle that my ex has attempted to use to stall and drag everything out. Jeanette does so very firmly, but not in a way that will aggravate the opposing side. For example, my ex was trying to keep the kids all to himself over Christmas since it fell on his weekend. Jeanette quickly scheduled a phone call with our Judge and opposing counsel to get things settled 3 days before Christmas! She answers every phone call and email very quickly and explains things in terms that you can easily understand. She makes you feel like you are her number one priority and will communicate her schedule, so you know when she will be available and when she will not be. It's been a little over 7 months and we are now officially divorced, but I know we still have quite the road ahead with finances and custody details to work out. I have the utmost confidence in Jeanette and after interviewing 3 attorneys last year, I am 200% confident in my decision to hire Jeanette to represent not only me, but my children as well. I would not hesitate to recommend Jeanette and would give her 10 stars on here if that was an option. I have said it one thousand times, and will probably say it one thousand more. I called Jeannette when I was served papers from my Ex-husband stating he was suing me for not complying to part of our divorce from over 10 years ago ~ Our kids were now adults and I was re-married. He was actually suing me for his portion of the equity in my home OR for me to "write-off" his child support arrears that he still owed from years ago. He bullied me with his big-shot attorney and I was scared. I called Jeannette, since she handled my parent's divorce years ago; I recalled meeting her & thought she was great back then... Well she stood up for ME this time & fought for me when I couldn't. We saved my house AND my child support arrears! She returned all of my phone-calls & e-mails, never made me feel like I was a pain - even when I KNOW I was (lol!) and she followed through the to very end until I collected every penny of support from the Ex. I would very highly recommend her for divorce and/or any family court matters. I fully intend to hire her for my next divorce! lol!

I have worked with Jeanette to help navigate 2 family members divorce cases. She was both kind and understanding during both cases, and always took the time to explain each step of the process.
