I can honestly say that I cannot think of a time in my life when I have been more thankful for someone's service than Halberg Defense. I was referred to Halberg Defense by a friend and would highly recommend them if you ever need legal defense. Marsh Halberg is simply the best and represented me very well in my case, leading to the best possible outcome in my situation. His Wisdom, knowledge of the system and working on my behalf and in my defense was absolutely tremendous. A big thumbs up!

John came highly recommended by my uncle, and I can see why. I was charged with 1st degree sale of cocaine and was facing 5.5years in prison after a half kilo of white powder was seized from my apartment. I maintained that the substance seized was not cocaine, despite the initial NIC test showing positive for cocaine. John's work on my case contributed to my bond amount being reduced from $1MM to $0 with a handful of conditions. After a little over a month in limbo while the prosecution dragged their heels, John successfully moved the court to have the substance tested more thoroughly and this resulted in the truth coming to light. John's work on my case resulted in being allowed to plead to 4th degree sale, and I was ultimately sentenced to time served plus probation. Even after sentencing, John and his team have continued to work towards restoring me to where I was before this ordeal took place. My bank accounts have been unfrozen (after 7 months of John's persistent pestering the prosecution -- thanks John!). John and his office staff are professional, knowledgable, and were helpful in frankly spelling out my options throughout the legal process. His representation provided a measure of peace during a tremendously stressful time. I'm very thankful to have benefited from his services.

I have personally worked with Dave Risk from Halberg Criminal Defense. I could not have been more blessed to be appointed to such a kind, knowledgeable, ethical and honest man. He represented me in two DWI situations. The first one with Dave's professionalism and knowledge was able to prove that I was not driving at the time and that case was dismissed. The next one I was found guilty. They wanted to give me jail time. Dave spoke with the prosecutor and explained my situation in detail and advised against incarceration for me. I did not do any jail time. When I got my 2nd DWI Dave informed me that he does not like repeat business. He likes referrals. I have 11 years sober and Dave was an intricate part of my sobriety. I have his phone number programmed in my phone. I call him every year on my sober date to thank him once again. I would highly recommend Halberg Criminal Defense to anyone as well as Dave Risk. If a circumstance arises they are the first people that come to mind for help. By far the best experience I have had with a lawyer Christina Zauhar was the best . When she wasn’t available the rest of the team was always there to make sure I was represented. When I was aressted I got halberg defenses number . It’s was rather late on a Friday night Christina z answered advised me on what I should do and then came to talk to me in person the following day . I can’t say enough good things about Christina and the rest of the team !!!!

I've came to these people twice and had the wonderful Christina Zauhar. I got a couple new chargers and I already had one prior. I couldn't of asked for a better outcome at court for each one. Everyone here is personal, friendly and wants to help you. Christina even gave me advice after court, on what I should do going forward with my probation. Obviously I recommend her, but you can't go wrong with anyone here!
