Great job and Thank You to everyone involved in my case! They were all fantastic with communication and were able to respond very quickly regarding anything that came up, or any general questions I had throughout the process. I felt like I had better representation than the opposing party every step of the way. Katie was fantastic during the hearings in articulating our defense and getting the ideas across concisely; and the Paralegals and additional Attorneys working on the case were excellent working through communications between myself and the opposing party. My only critique would be that I would have liked if they had offered up a little bit more counsel or advice from time to time. I could have asked, but each email conversation can quickly eat up the retainer. Other than that, I would absolutely recommend H&L. If I need representation in the future, I will be going with Heimerl & Lammers. Thank you all.

H&L has a team of people working for you (different attorneys and paralegal), and their very responsive with emails which was good. The downside is their are on the more expensive side (5k retainer to start and 5k reups when your retainer runs out), there was no flexible on the 5k reups so I had to find a different attorney. Also, having a team of people could be a pro or con depending if you want more of a one to one relationship with your attorney. I personally liked having a more personal relationship with my new attorney when I switched. Looking back, It would’ve been best to interview a few attorneys before selecting one. Overall though, they did a good job. Just didn’t like that they were not flexible with their legal fees. If you have a contentious divorce, your money will go fast with this firm. But if you have the funds available at least (35-40k+ for a contentious divorce) and you don’t mind not having a personal one on one relationship with your attorney and dealing with different people, then this firm will be a fit for you, otherwise, I’d recommend looking around and interviewing at least 3-4 attorneys before selecting one.

I have nothing but greats things to say about Kyle and his team! I don’t leave reviews ever, but the work they did needs to be recognized. My divorce should have been very quick and easy, but when things started to get difficult Kyle and his team were nothing but patient and worked diligently to get my case resolved!
