My experience with Jacob Erickson was excellent. This is a person who knows his craft and will walk the extra mile for you. He gave my case all the time and attention that was needed to be successful in court. He was a calming and confident presence during a very nerve-racking process.  He was completely understanding, and professional and worked very diligently to the end and I’m so grateful!
 Although my case involved fighting to maintain my current level of child support I receive, and I don’t make much money myself, I never once was treated as anything other than a valuable client by Mr. Erickson and the entire SPOE staff. I very much appreciate the knowledge and support I received. 
I will only recommend SPOE and Jacob Erickson for anyone looking for legal counsel and representation as I have never been nor have I ever seen anyone treated better in this industry. Being out of state client , and having a very complex case, I decided to hire Jacob Erickson. He is everything and more that one would want in a lawyer : Knowledgeable, Professional, Good listener , Kind and Personable. Always ready to respond . Jacob Erickson was a very professional, prompt, respectful attorney. He was always there to ensure I was getting all of my questions, and concerns addressed/answered throughout my divorce process. I have major anxiety and depression disorders. Being on the phone triggers my anxiety but after talking to Mr. Jacob Erickson all of that subsided. He has helped me tremendously with my divorce case and also cares about me as a person and not as just another client. I was very much impressed with the expansive knowledge that Jake was able to bring to my case. While most family cases are complicated, he was able to easily explain the process and set expectations for me in a way that helped to take some of the angst out of the process.. I felt extremely comfortable with Jake guiding me through this process. A few years back, I retained an attorney for a related family matter, and I can honestly say the difference was night and day. The attorney from a few years back was nowhere near the caliber, nor provided the level of service that Jake brought to my case.....but interestingly they were still priced similarly. I had a MUCH better experience with Jake as my counsel and was very pleased with the outcome. I have no doubt whatsoever that I will turn to Jake and his firm for future needs as they arise. Very pleased.

There are no words to express my gratitude for all that Mr. Erickson has done for me. From our very first meeting, I have always known that he would fight for me when I couldn't fight for myself. He has even called personally to check on me when he and his staff were concerned for my well-being. I drive nearly an hour one-way for each or our appointments and don't mind at all, because he and his staff have become very special to me. When you can leave your lawyer's office with a smile on your face - and I always do - it's a good day!

Within 30 seconds of meeting Jake, I felt at ease---and that says a lot. When I met with him for the first time, I took another lawyer friend with me to get additional feedback in my decision as to whether or not I would go with Jake. We were both impressed. Jake doesn't take any guff, and he calls things like they are. He's passionate and he knows the ins and outs of the legal system--Both Stearns County and Benton County, which is really important. I trusted Jake with the safety and financial future of myself and my two young children. I knew if there was a way to reach a fair solution, he could do that for me. He was straight-forward and he kept me informed. I felt good handing my issues over to Jake and his firm of amazing and compassionate attorneys. Gerry, Colleen, Carly...everyone I met was positive, supportive, and passionate. I know I owe them some cookies, and I know if and when I need legal guidance in the future, I can trust them.

Upon meeting Jacob Erickson I immediately felt comfortable during very uneasy time in my life. I can honestly say Jacob truly cares about his clients and thier story! He asks great questions and listens, he is knowledgable about different child custody laws and I can now breath easier knowing this stressful time of my life is almost over! I feel protected!

Jacob gathered information to defend case and seemed very knowledgeable and confident about case. We entered negotiations which seemed grimm since other side not moving on amount on Lien but Jacob came up with a solution that suited both sides and avoided court. He thought outside box and knew his information. He reassured me and helped me realize I was not in the wrong. He realized I was uncomfortable in situation so helped make it as comfortable as possible.

Mr. Erickson been professional and courteous, and has handled my case vigorously and skillfully. I would not hesitate to recommend him as one of the best attorneys around. I have not had a lot of experience with attorneys, as I have never been in real trouble before, but my background in Criminal Justice has left me with some knowledge of the legal system, and I can honestly say that his representation and knowledge has been extraordinary. I had two attorneys prior to him handle my case, and Mr. Erickson's skills were far superior to either of them.
