Before our crisis began, we were familiar with the Universal Defense billboard on highway 10 in Elk River by the Sherburne County Jail. After the crisis began , we immediately met with Rick LeRoy at his office in Otsego. Just the fact that he is local and always available for questions and moral support, lifted a huge burden from our shoulders! Our case started as a felony level charge with potentially life altering consequences. The charges were unfair and untrue, and Rick refused to let us be railroaded by the state. It was a total nightmare until Rick, with great professionalism and sincerity delivered to us a reduced charge of disorderly conduct.-A result we can live with. I sincerely believe he cared about the outcome of my case not just for a win on his record, but because he wanted to do what was right and cared about the outcome. I will always turn to Rick for any questions I have and immediately think of him if I’m ever in need of an attorney in the future, and I suggest anyone do the same. 5 stars aren’t enough.
