She is an amazing attorney! Helped me after my husband died unexpectedly.

So disappointed with her service. My brother was completely taken advantage of. I am not a lawyer but do have a legal background. She took money to file things that she should have known would not be admissible in court due to those pieces of evidence being entered too late, something my brother did not know at the time but later found out. She also gave him bad advice that could have landed him in jail. I would not recommend her to anyone. Lawyers should be watching out for their clients not finding ways to make more money. Due to her incompetence, he had to find another lawyer to represent him. Very disappointed!!

If there were negative number of stars that’s what I would rate her. My son was charged $9000 dollars for what amounted to a couple phone calls and a very short ex parte hearing, and some very bad information. When he brought in additional documentation to be filed with the court a day before the 2nd hearing she didn’t bother to tell him that it would be too late to enter anything new but told him it would cost him $500 to do so. Then told him she really didn’t need to be at the 2nd hearing with him. I went with him and it was awful. Even the judge was put off by him not having representation. I couldn’t see how she could’ve thought she didn’t need to be there! When he decided to get another attorney he went up to Ms Swanson’s office to pick up all the documentation only to find there was ANOTHER $900 bill for the documents she filed the day before the hearing! This goes way beyond incompetent. This is nothing short of unethical and devoid of human compassion. After reading the review by Emily G. I am struck by how many similarities there were with my son’s case, especially the piece about withdrawing at the worst possible moment! I guess I should be greatful it was $9000 and not $30,000! If you notice, the three 5 star ratings have no narrative. She must have coerced “friends” to put those up.
