We retained Tim to assist with a relative’s probate matter. We are not local to Minnesota, so someone with excellent communication and the ability to handle tasks virtually (i.e. Zoom meetings, conference calls, etc.) was a must. Tim delivered on both! Tim is extremely knowledgeable and his advice was always in the best interest of the estate. He knew exactly what to do when issues arose! Tim’s billing practices are reasonable and very fair. He is detailed without being overly solicitous. He is a ready source of conflict resolution ideas. He was considerate to our often conflicting ideas, which we appreciated. His charges have been reasonable and didn't give me the impression that he was generating his fee hours for the sake of generating busy work. He has been available for my questions and friendly reminders. I had experience working with a total of 7 attorneys consecutively on various matters and I learned that there are several categories of cost to consider. They are an upfront out of pocket cost; a cost of time; a cost of fee hours for revisions; a cost of reporting inaccurately to the others/agencies; and a cost of choosing options without a clear understanding of the process. I give him a good mark on them all.
