I thank God every day for this law firm! I was completely stressed due to a financial situation. After my conversation with Julie I had a phone appt. set up with Bill. almost immediately talking with Julie I felt better, her non- judgemental, and compassionate voice made me feel heard and that there was a helping hand available. Promptly I received the call from Bill, His professional wisdom was amazing. It was like he total knew what I was going through emotionally and financially. He pointed out a couple of options that we could take and set me up with an appt. with Jake. I had talked with 2 other lawyers and left them with no sense of direction, only more confused. This brings me to Jake , who asked the questions that helped further to understand what the best option would be. Again the non-judgemental, compassionate attitude came through. Jake keeps me up to date on everything that is happening and is easily reached. All three of these people are like talking to your best friend that has your back.

My experience with Kain & Scott was very uplifting and truly helpful. An associate filled out all of the application paperwork for me. The office was very prompt in responding to any phone calls I made or messages I sent them. They in no way made me feel like a loser for being in my bankruptcy situation. The day of the personal hearing there was, as promised, an attorney waiting to accompany and assist me during the proceedings. My discharge came through today and I am so relieved. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Kain & Scott if you are considering filing Bankruptcy. For several years, I knew I needed to admit defeat and just get it over with. I had myself convinced I could get caught up on my bills and get myself out of debt and that filing would be a terrible, time consuming and lengthy process. I. Was. Wrong. I made appointments with a few bankruptcy attorneys before I heard about Kain & Scott from a friend. The problem was....it costs a lot of money to tell people "I DON'T HAVE MONEY!"...there was no way I could come up with the money up front to get the process started. When I found out about Kain & Scott, the most appealing factor was the option to make monthly payments instead of paying in full and up front. I contacted them and quickly got an appointment for the free consultation which due to my schedule, I couldn't do face to face so Kelsey spoke with me for maybe about 30 minutes via Skype/FaceTime. I explained my situation, she made recommendations based on my debt and explained how the process worked. She made it sound so simple and in the end, it really was. All I had to do was fill out some simple paperwork, gather my bills and provide them with information regarding my debt and assets. Quick and easy. They laid everything out for me step by step. The process took exactly the amount of time they said it would and from the day my bankruptcy was filed, my credit score went up immediately. Any questions I had were responded to right away by Kelsey, Callie, Stephanie and other staff. My only regret is that I waited so long to start the process, however waiting long enough to find Kain & Scott was the best thing I could have done. If you're over your head in debt and you are living paycheck to paycheck, do yourself a favor and contact them TODAY. Don't wait. It's not going to get any better.
