Chad helped me get thru my 4th degree DUI without jail time and was able to get me a plea agreement that was much less severe (driving with a BAC over .08). Chad carries and presents himself well and his vast experience as a former prosecutor was a huge asset for helping me get my case adjudicated. Thanks Chad!

After some research, I chose Chad Throndset to represent me and my children in a difficult divorce. After everything is said and done, I'm very happy I chose him. Mr. Throndset was prompt in getting back to me with any questions/ concerns I had via phone or email. He was trustworthy and helped me see the "big picture" in what I wanted from my divorce and outcome. He put my needs and the needs of my children first. I felt he was upfront and honest throughout the entire process. I always felt at ease in the courtroom with his presence, he was strong and knowledgable. Ultimately, I received what I wanted to accomplish from my divorce. I have and will continue to recommend Mr. Throndset to friends and family. He's outstanding!

He is not very talkative but is a very good attorney. Would like if he would respond to emails more as I live out of state and have him representing me. He definitely does what he says he is going to do. He also works hard to try to get the best results that he can get for you and your case.

I drive a truck for a living and tickets and traffic violations are inevitable so I needed legal help. I was immediately interested in working with Chad because he had an easy going personality and a way about him that gave me the feeling he was confident and competent. I had a great comfort level after our initial conversation, and I felt that way throughout the process. I felt comfortable asking him any question no matter how stupid I thought it might be. I never once got the feeling that Chad looked down on me for being in the situation that I was in. He handled the entire process. He always returned my calls quickly. He answered all my questions and everything he told me he was going to do, he delivered on. I didn’t have to go to court because through his knowledge, hard work and extensive contacts he was able to get everything settled without a trial. Chad did a great job for me, and I plan to use him again for any tickets or other issues that may come up. He will be my first call in any legal situation I find myself.

The thing that impressed me the most about Chad was that I always felt like he was being completely honest with me. I felt that way the first time I met him, and I felt that way the entire time I worked with him. When your working with a lawyer it’s important to be able to trust them, and I trusted Chad. He also made me feel comfortable with the entire case. He’s very calm, direct and didn’t come across as arrogant. I never felt like he looked down on me at any time. He was also surprisingly responsive. He was the first person to call back from legal match. He always answered the phone or called back quickly, and he immediately responded to emails and attached all relevant information and mailed hard copies. He kept me informed the entire time. I was also very happy about the fact that he used to be a prosecutor. This was a huge plus because he always seemed to know what the other party was thinking or planning. Thanks to Chad I was able to get my case dismissed.

Chad knows what he is doing. He was honest and straight forward with me throughout the entire process. I was kept up to speed on what he thought the outcome was going to be, even if it wasn't something I wanted to hear. He was also very helpful in preparing me for the trial so there were no surprises. The final outcome of my case was better than I expected. He was also very knowledgeable about all the paperwork that is involved which made that part of the process much easier than I expected. He was great to work with.

I started to work with Chad 15 years ago and he has helped me on several occasions. In particular is DUI representation. He was always honest with me explaining the potential scenarios including the worse case. He's not an over promise kind of guy. He would explain very clearly what was in front of us. He made me feel more comfortable by telling the truth. Makes me feel like a human. A lot of attorneys that I have dealt with you are just an ant on the hill. They look at you like a criminal. Chad looks at the good in people. He really takes the time to understand the case and do the research.

Chad came highly recommended from a friend and after meeting with him I was confident he was the right person to help me through this process. Chad handled my case with professionalism. His straightforward and confident approach made me feel very confident that he was the best person for the job. You never know what side of the bed the judge is going to wake up on, but Chad was very good about knowing what to focus on. He knew the direction we needed to go, and throughout the case I felt very confident knowing he was on my side. In the end, Chad was able to negotiate a very favorable settlement for me. I highly recommend Chad.

I signed the $4,500 engagement fee (March 16th) and then decided to no longer proceed with my case after paternity was determined (April 13th). Throughout my time with Mr Throndset I had called numerous times and was unable to contact him directly along with finding out what progress had been made on my case. I had negotiated and paid for my own paternity testing in which the child was not mine. I then called the office (Carlson & Jones, P.A.) to ask that Mr Throndset no longer continue my case. I e-mailed him directly to ask for a possible refund of my $4,500 fee. He contacted me 5 days later saying he got my e-mail and would consult with his partners first about a refund. I received a refund of only $1,500 where the other 3,000 was spent on research for my case (less than a month) and due to him having to turn down other cases. I don't believe those to be legitimate reasons since Mr Throndset barely had time enough to keep up with me, his client, let alone take on other cases. He was clearly overwhelmed with cases and I doubt the "research" he had done and time spent on my case was worth $3,000. I had expected a larger refund because I felt Mr Throndset was an inadequate lawyer and during my signing of the retainer he had mentioned he was a "good man" and would negotiate a refund if the case need be discontinued. -Joshua S.
