I’ve been trying to get disability for approximately four years and the one thing that I wish was different is being able to have more communication with your attorney if you’d like. The roads are all put up and you can’t get past the front desk. If I called to talk to my attorney, that’s exactly what I’m doing calling to talk to my attorney not his paralegal, however, they do play a large role in each case. I was assigned Anthony as my attorney and I have nothing but great things to say about him. As stated earlier being able to talk to your lawyer is few and far between. And we all know that trying for disability takes years, that’s why it’s so important to be able to communicate with your Attorney, within reason! That being said, I had a conversation with him the day BEFORE the hearing and the day of. He did eventually calm me down and the hearing went fine.
