Kristen has been exceptional since the first time I hired her. She was totally understanding and more than gracious and caring when I returned to her. She speaks to me not down to me she makes sure that I understand everything and breaks things down. She gives advice but never tells me what to do. She offers options and scenarios. She goes out of her way to answer any questions I have and points me in direction to go if she cannot help. She has been more than wonderful taking my case thinking this would be a quick easy divorce.. Over a year later she is still my number one advocate I am blessed to have her at my side. She is a true hero in my book.

I called today with a very personal and very upsetting issue that I was told could be handled by a law firm. After contacting 3 firms, I called Capitol and the person answering my call yawned and mumbled something unintelligible. I thought I had dialed the wrong number. When apologizing and saying that I was attempting to contact a law firm, I was told I had. I gave a brief description of what happened to me, and asked to speak to an attorney. I was told I was speaking to an attorney. I was hesitant but decided to continue with the call, started explaining the situation, a minute into my explanation I heard the person i was talking to YAWN. Asked if i should call back. Was told to keep explaining... within the next minute he interrupted me. This was a completely different attitude than I had been received by the first 3 firms I contacted. I'm telling this guy very sensitive information and is the reason I am now pursuing litigation with another firm, and this guy acts like it's an inconvenience?!? He told me to continue, but by this time I could clearly see that the fight in this attorney, who's apparently his own secretary, was gone. He hung up on me. If you're thinking about hiring anyone associated with this Corner Store law firm, I'd highly recommend not too. I reviewed their case success on the Minnesota bar association website, and it's a consistent pattern of bad results and upset clients. Anyone who gave this firm a good review, were offered a gift card. Capitol didn't lose a case for me... only because they never would be allowed to handle a case involving me. On God.

I hired Ms. Bullock to represent me and my case. Right now she's only writing up the decree, but she takes the time to explain everything, she works with me and she will let you know exactly what can be done if you like it or not. Extremely knowledgeable. I can't say enough and how pleased I am with Ms Bullock.

I live in Alaska and I am dealing with a divorce and child custody case in Minnesota. I called Ms. Bullock, because of her outlook as an attorney. When I called her, she listened to what I had to say. She took my needs into consideration and gave it her full attention. She was not so quickly to get off the phone, as other attorneys were when I spoke with them. She explained everything in great detail so I could understand it. You can tell she cares about the people that she represents or ones that maybe a client down the road. She is willing to go to great lengths to represent me if needed, while I am in Alaska. My first impression of Ms. Bullock is a extremely knowledgeable attorney with a great deal of class. She will be my first choice to represent me in my divorce.

Here's the long story short: I worked with Kristen for over a year, and she took my tough, complicated-as-hell family law case on emergency short notice and worked hard to get us the best possible outcome for our situation. I keep telling her it would never have happened without her, and it's true. She took on an un-advantageous legal situation and turned it around for me and my daughter. Kristen is compassionate, she's tough, and she's funny; in fact, she introduced me to some hilarious terminology that I will use for life (and it wasn't easy to make me smile at the time -- she took more than a few tearful, panicked phone calls from my direction!) Kristen works hard, she's no b.s. and she'll tell you how it is, even if it may not be what you want to hear at the time (because the reality of the situation is what you NEED to hear). The legal system is brutal, but Kristen has a talent for helping to navigate it in a realistic but compassionate manner. I can't recommend her enough. Many more thanks to you, Kristen! You rock! :-)
