Dana did a wonderful job handling my case. She was always quick to answer any questions I had when I contacted her. She has loads of experience and is also a pleasure to work with. She's tough when she needs to be, but treats her clients with respect and kindness. She did an amazing job on my case and gave 100% to help me get a fair settlement.

I had a back injury at my previous employment, which was ruled out by my employer's doctor as degenerative! I was in fine health prior to this injury and was able to enjoy my life as a normal person. I found Dana and contacted her with my situation, and she walked me through everything. She was very professional and sympathetic towards my situation, as well as transparent throughout the whole process. Communication was always handled timely, and if I missed a call there was always an email waiting for me in my inbox. Words cannot express my gratitude for Dana. I had probably the weirdest and most unusual case of Dana’s career... I had several lawyers decline my work comp claim before I was referred to her by a friend. Dana is high integrity, great personality and “real world street smart”. She is no nonsense but also has a sense of humor which was VERY important to me because being in a three year long legal thing is not fun!! She was a great listener and when I needed to vent about my frustration with my employer and the way they were bullying me, she was supportive and empathetic even though they were not exactly pertinent details to the case. I got my check this week and I am so grateful for her help!

I had a knee injury that happened at work and then finished off at my residence. My employer was not going to pay for MRI or surgery to repair my knee. So that's when I contacted Dana's Law office. I first met Dana back in August and everyday since she has without a doubt been a constant voice of reason and support in my case. My patience and sanity been tested over the past 11 months as I have struggled with the unknown following several injuries and consequent recoveries suffered from a fall at work. Throughout my case, she was always been quick to respond, addressed all of my concerns, and answered all of my questions - some often not directly related to my case. Following settlement, an outcome I believe to be fair and unattainable without her service, Ms. Gerber has continued her service by doing everything within her power to ensure that the next step(s) in the process go as smooth as possible for me. Not only has she been patient, understanding, compassionate, and forthright with me, but she has taken an aggressive stance ensuring my interests and concerns were addressed. Most of all, Mr. Gerber has listened to me. She has allowed me to vent and speak my mind without interruption or judgment. Not once was I made to feel that the “procedure or practice” took precedence over my best interests. Dana, I will happily recommend your services when and where applicable, and of course, thank for what you’ve done for me. She did not represent the best interests of her client. The delays in approval from the insurance company became longer and longer once we retained her. I had to e-mail her at least twice a week to remind her about what the insurance company was not addressing or approving, and 95% of the time it was passed off to her assistant. This case involved a traumatic brain injury, which she said she had dealt with, but I do not think she is up to speed in that area. She never spoke with the physician. She pushed to add monthly gym membership costs to our case, which was never a major concern for us. She put more effort into that than getting the necessary medical treatment. Less than one week after the IME report was issued, she withdrew from the case. Her reason was that we did not want to participate in mediation at that time, and that was against her legal advice. Yet when she scheduled it, she assured us we could cancel it at any time. When we did that, on 3 separate occasions, she got irate and withdrew from the case. Weekly benefits have been stopped for the second time and medical treatments have still not been done. We are in a worse position now than when we retained her. She also worsened the communication between us and the QRC assigned to this case. In the end, we believe Dana Gerber did not represent her client's best interests, acted unprofessionally once the negative IME report was issued, and withdrew from the case to cover her professional reputation. Our experience with her was very disappointing, and I recommend you do not hire her to represent you.
