I hired Mike Davey for a bankruptcy. He kept me well informed and up to date on all details. Every time I contacted him he responded in a timely matter. He always encouraged me to contact him for any reason with any questions anytime. He made it clear that there was one cost and he did not rush our appointments and made sure I understood everything that was going on. I found him to be nonjudgemental and down to earth . I would definitely recommend him.

Bankruptcy is not fun, and it is something I never thought would happen to me. Mike was so kind and supportive to both my wife and I through the entire process. Our case was complicated and unique, and required extra investigation on Mike's part. He seemed to welcome the challenge, and always kept us in the loop as to where things stood. When I would drag my feet and seem hesitant to move on because of fear or embarrassment, Mike would encourage me to keep moving forward with out being pushy. We felt completely prepared when we entered the courtroom, and felt completely confident in Mike's abilities to take care of us. He did! We ended up with the best possible outcome, and I believe it is because of Mike's hard work. Mike is a kind and thoughtful man that made this experience as good as it could be. It is not what I expected. I would recommend him to anyone!

Michael was always responsive. Possessed a great knowledge of the law and belived in what he was doing! Most important, extremely ethical!! I would always hire Michael agian if needed and refer anyone to him.

I interviewed several lawyers for my bankruptcy case. Mike Davey was the only one that was willing to work with me on a pre-payment plan . We could not file until all payments were made but with all the research and paper work that needed to be done anyway, that was no problem. His fees were 'affordable' and less than other lawyers. I will use Mike Davey in the future if I need a lawyer!

He did a very good job of explaining my options and what he thought would be the best route for me. He also kept me updated with the pertinent information and always used more than one contact type to make sure I was informed. He never made me feel like I should be ashamed of filing for bankruptcy and always made me feel comfortable with the process.

Once I was ready to move forward, Mike was exact about what I needed to provide and why it was necessary. Always easy to get in touch with via email and phone, Mike was also accommodating with his schedule whenever we had to meet in person. Although my situation was complex and required a significant amount of research and calculation, Mike's explanations were always easy to understand and his advice clearly outlined my choices and their possible consequences. That -- along with his obvious commitment to do right by me while still keeping things in perspective -- made it relatively easy to make a decision regarding the direction of my case. And once it was made, Mike was thorough, accurate, and efficient in filing and preparing me for my Creditors Meeting. Mike's plainly a good person willing and able to work hard for the good of his client. You never want a bankruptcy lawyer, but if you need one, Mike's a great one to have.

Mr. Davey handled my will, power of attorney, living will, and associated estate planning documents. In the process, he asked questions and made suggestions to address possible situations which would never have occurred to me. He is so efficient that, much later, he found a very minor typo, notified me, and corrected it. Prior to consulting Mr. Davey, I had used an online will program. Mr Davey proved to me, without a doubt, that hiring a diligent attorney is well worth the expense.
