Matt has personally helped me with numerous issues. He has fantastic communication skills (public speaker, knowledgeable blog writer, great listener, etc.). Matt is an asset to his profession and I do not hesitate to use, recommend, or refer Matt to others.

I would highly recommend Matt Ludt from Atticus Law. He took the time to listen to all issues and found clear solutions to move forward on an unresolved divorce settlement. With his expertise and knowledge, I felt confident of resolution. Most of all, I appreciated his manner of conveying legal terms into something I was able to understand.

A close family member of mine used Atticus Family Law for his divorce and custody battle with very complex circumstances. I paid for no reason. Over the course of nearly two years of still being married, I thought it was being handled (why you hire an attorney in the first place) was not being handled at all. Infact it was being drawn out longer and longer. I ran out of money so I represented myself and withing one day I had an agreement with my (soon to be) ex-wife and her attorney that was better than any I was shown with representation. Nearly two years and I got what was supposed to get done in ONE DAY!

We were referred to Matt to help with our custody case. Our case was complicated as I was in Illinois and my ex lives in Minnesota. His expertise in State-to-State custody cases was exceptional. More so, I felt comfortable because, of all the lawyers we've spoken to, Matt was able to explain every argument from both sides and provide a counter. In the process, he made all the confusion make sense. Matt and his staff were great through the many revisions of our affidavits and did a ton of extra digging and prepping to make sure we were successful. My family needed help with changing a guardianship for my special needs brother. Mr. Ludt listened to our unique family situation and needs, and helped us to complete this task every step of the way.

Matt took on my my divorce case and handled everything State-side while I was overseas. His effective communication and a no-nonsense approach made the process smoother than I thought possible. He facilitated Skype appearances for both the court appearance and a financial review meeting showing an understanding and appreciation of my situation. I am glad I put my trust in him.
