Andrew was Great, stayed in contact and at the insurance company... thankful

I have been a client of Morris Bart, LTD twice and used the same attorney in both cases because I trusted her to handle my case fairly and efficiently. She worked so hard on both of my cases and that goes to show the level of dedication the Morris Bart team has to hiring great attorneys and non-attorney staff.

I was hurt driving while working. I was told workman comp wasn't necessary. After months of therapy was complete, i was told my case was being negotiated. I later received a impersonal letter saying they would no longer represent me. No explanation. Not even a phone call. They went from everything's good. To leaving me hanging without warring or reason. I lost out on my workman comp because of them. Oh, I was advised against it because they don't do comp claims. I would have to get a outside attorney for that. Not money in their pocket. I will use a local law firm from now on. Law professionals who treat you like a person. Even actually meeting their clients in person. It's not like the billion dollar name on the door will represent you. There are way better lawyers out there.

I am extremely unhappy with the service I have received at Morris Bart. After months of visiting doctors suggested by my Morris Bart attorney and after months of having this attorney represent me, I am told that my case is only worth $750.00 because my case falls under another state’s policy instead of the state I am living in. This is the main problem I have with Morris Bart. Something as basic as which jurisdiction my case falls under should have been told to me on the very first meeting. Instead, I am told 8 months later, nothing can be done about this and it’s not worth bringing to a trial. Of course, being upset over this, I asked to speak to Morris Bart, I was told I can’t talk to him because he’s not responsible and when I try calling his main office in New Orleans (I’m in Mississippi), my call gets re-routed to my attorney assigned by Morris Bart. I know this to be the case, because 5 minutes after I tried calling his number, my Mom called and got Jessica instead. Obviously, this is another tactic I’m not happy with. Unfortunately this has been my experience with Morris Bart and if I would have known this from the beginning, I would NOT have hired him!!!
