Scott is zealous and actively pursues justice and his client’s rights. He doesn’t stand by and wait - he gets in the fight early and stands firm for his client. He kept me well informed and fully explained my rights and options. I wholeheartedly recommend him!

I contacted Mr Gilbert late one afternoon after coming to the realization that just because I didn’t commit the crime I was accused of didn’t mean I didn’t need a good attorney. I had just been told that I was looking at 10 years and it was clear that the prosecutor wasn’t interested in what I believed proved my innocence. I was extremely scared when I called and Mr Gilbert was with his family but took the time to hear me out and he immediately answered what he could of my questions as if I was a valued client although we didn’t know each other which made me comfortable putting my fait in his hands. I’ll admit Mr Gilbert is best at being an attorney rather than a shoulder to cry on and my suggestions on strategies and opinions about him not doing enough were not all that welcomed but I didn’t understand the realities of the legal system and was afraid so I certainly felt bad about insinuating he wasn’t doing enough. (Especially when he called to inform me that my case had been dismissed lol.)

I hired him thinking since he had prosecutor experience he would make a good defense attorney. I feel like he sided with the prosecution throughout my defense. To his credit, he was always available and accessible. Never hire a former prosecutor to defend you.

Mr Gilbert was diligent in working with my case to present the evidence and proof of innocence. He file petition with the court to attempt to get it thrown out in advance. He listened and spoke to me with professionalism and care. He explained the process well and prepared me for all possible results.

Mr. Gilbert helped me out with a minor case and treated it very professionally. He helped me understand where I was, since this was my first incident and the seriousness. He wa's very straight forward and even sat with me in the court room while the judge heard my case.
