Great Experience! Saved me time, money and frustration! Highly recommend! The team at Tannehill Carmean and specifically Attorney Blake Douglas and his paralegal, Tori, are second to none. I went to them prior to my Mom's passing away to review and provide advice on her will and estate planning. Their review allowed me to not worry about the estate and to focus on family knowing that Mom's estate was in a good place. When she did pass away in December 2023, both and Blake and Tori worked with me to ensure a successful processing of Mom's will. Of note, I live in Virginia and Mom lived in New Albany, MS. I can't come "back and forth" on a whim. Blake and Tori worked with me and made all required work smooth and easy. They kept me updated as things moved along. Communication was reasonable - not too much and not too little. Any challenges that I came across (and there were several not of their doing), Blake and Tori helped me overcome them quickly and effectively. Within a reasonable amount of time, my Mom's estate was finished with probate, and I was empowered to work on all the other actions that were required. After the death of a loved one when you are probating a will, there are many moving parts - probate itself, finances, selling of the home, dealing with obstinate family members, etc. By far, the easiest and smoothest part of this effort was probating the will which was squarely in Blake and Tori's lane. They were amazing throughout all of this, and I highly recommend them for your estate planning needs!

As 2024 comes to a close, I can honestly say it’s been the darkest year of my life. But this Christmas season, I am reminded of what my great-grandmother used to say to me which is in dark times remember “this too shall pass.” In late part of 2023, I was charged with a felony that I did not commit and the end result could have ended my professional career and taken me away from my family. Not knowing what to do, or where or who to turn too, I called the only lawyer that I pretty much knew would help me, Rhea Tannehill. To say I was scared is an understatement, I was terrified. Having never been arrested, never been in court, I remember he was there every step of the way. He guided me through the process and I can truly say with all the turmoil I felt, he gave me a sense of peace that all would be ok and I was never alone. He was blunt, and sometimes it seemed harsh, but I knew he was doing what was best for me. I never had any doubt in my heart that I had the greatest attorney to represent me, and when you go through something like this, trust me it does come in your mind if you retained the right attorney , I knew from beginning I had the elite one. Rhea truly has a gift as an attorney. He truly has a passion for the law, yes, but more importantly he has an unwavering commitment to his clients, a heart that cares and above all else, ears that listen intently. I remember being so paranoid that I would be judged by him or his staff (Mandy is awesome) and that was never the case. As I was about to start the thanksgiving holiday this year, I was yet again filled with a void like last holiday season. Trial would begin in January and even though I had complete confidence in Rhea as my attorney, its not something you want to go through especially when your future hangs in balance. I was dreading it. Then, right before the thanksgiving, Rhea called me to tell me my case was dismissed, to say I was relieved is an understatement. This nightmare was over.
