I am extremely grateful for Chris, Kimberly, and everyone else at Finney Injury Law. My husband and I were struck by a car while walking on a sidewalk nearly a thousand miles from home and he sustained life threatening injuries. Thankfully, a close friend recommended Chris Finney. He was with us every step of the way, from advising me at the ICU, to arranging care for my husband when we were able to transport him back to St Louis, through the years of preparation leading up to the trial, and ultimately through the negotiations which ended in a fair settlement. Four years ago I was involved in a vehicle accident that changed my life forever. I initially contacted a firm that was only concerned about pushing my case through settlement and allowing the insurance company to dictate the outcome. After almost two years of that firm’s attorneys telling me that my injury was just “soft tissue damage”, and my claim was worth what I was asking, I decided to take control of my own case. I searched out a surgeon who confirmed what I knew all along, that I had two ruptured disc in my neck. I immediately fired my original attorney after my surgeon and I discussed my diagnosis. A few years ago I was in a terrible car crash. The aftermath of a car accident leaves you with feeling helpless, lost, and overwhelmed. I had a lot of people in my life trying to give me advice, and a lot of it seemed contradictory to one another. I was referred to Chris by a friend and I just felt this was the right person to help take care of us. I'm glad I trusted my gut because Chris has been great. From our first meeting Chris was attentive to the situation and had solutions to offer me. Throughout the process Chris would constantly keep me in the loop with what was going on and how the case was progressing, he was always available to answer questions or to explain in more detail what was happening. I never felt like he was just some guy that was telling me what to do, but I felt like we were a team. As my injury progressed Chris was sensitive to my changes and what I was experiencing and made suggestions to see certain doctors to help get to the bottom of what was going on. When something like a car accident happens to someone there is no turning back the clock to living life exactly as you had before the crash. Our only hope is to be made whole again as much as possible. I can say this with confidence, I'm not the person I was 2 years ago, but I'm as close as possible because of Chris.
