So in the year 2021 I was charged with a DWI, and a couple of other charges in addition to the DWI... I contacted Denise with a referral from another lawyer, my cases were an hour and a half from where I reside and as well from where she practices, with that being said, she took my case's on and from start to end (just under a year) she did all of the foot work and I did very little appearances, and within that time did what I would have never thought could be an outcome.. I'm super happy with her as she informed me of everything i was facing, broke everything down to me so I could understand it, and would DEFINITELY hire her again for any legal matters that she works with.... Ms. Childress came to my acquaintance through the death of a personal friend of mine who happened to be my attorney for 30 years. Several years ago I faced DUI charges and was reading reviews on Avvo; trying and find the best legal representation I could find. It was my first (and hopefully last time) I needed a lawyer for criminal defense. I read several reviews, and called several law offices. Ms. Childress was prompt to call me back, thorough in explaining her initial thoughts, and frank with me from the beginning of the process until the end. She enlisted help of others if needed, using not only her experience but the vast experience of Mr. Ward and the staff. The process was stressful, and at times the outcome was unclear. But Ms. Childress and Mr. Ward were able to reduce the charges without a trail and completely avoid the alcohol related charges. I couldn't be happier with the results, or the service.
