Back in Oct of 2020 I had an accident occur on the job where my Ladder slipped out from under me causing me to fall roughly 10feet to the deck below. This incident caused me to sprain both ankles and wrist as well as a broken bone (jones fracture) and a broken bone in my wrist requiring surgery. I was very timid about obtaining a lawyer because I generally loved my employer and felt I would ruin a good thing I had with them. After weighing my options with my family we chose to hire John Moffit with Holland Injury Law. John was very down to earth and helped me understand that this wasn’t a me vs them situation but rather making sure that any negotiations between myself and my employers insurance company was met with understanding. If I tried to discuss anything with them on my own I know I would have put myself and my family in a precarious spot. John was always available when I needed to discuss anything in regards to my case and always responsive when I texted him. He handled my case professionally and the case was settled within a year due to ongoing rehab and progress x ray appointments. If you are on the fence like I was give John a call and give him 5 minutes of your time and I assure you that fence will no longer be there.
