I hired Andrew Popplewell 5 days before my final DWI video hearing. My first attorney was not very honest and ghosted me a month before the end of my case. I frantically called several attorneys in one day. I knew in the first couple of minutes on the phone that Andrew should have been the attorney on my case from the start. He is straight forward and to the point. He patiently answered all my questions and explained everything clearly. He also told me that he was willing to take over if I wanted, but I really did not need him for this and should save my money. I hired him anyway because I was concerned that my last attorney didn't handle my case properly. I felt much better having Andrew look my case over and having him there representing me. A client should be able to feel confident that their attorney is doing their best for them. Had I hired Andrew in the beginning, it would have saved me a lot of unnecessary stress.

As a freshman university student, I was charged with Posseession and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony, by university police because another student got ahold of several pills of ADHD medication that I have been prescribed for over 8 years. Although, I should have been more careful with my medication, it was obvious that the charge was excessive. I was referred to Mr. Popplewell, and he immediately went to work on my behalf. Working to get the charges dismissed or reduced was a challenge due to the prosecutor's unwillingness to negotiate. That didn't stop Andrew and the charges were ultimately reduced to the lowest misdemeanor with no fine. It is unfortunate that a stupid mistake could have derailed my entire college career, however, that didn't happen thanks to Mr. Popplewell. My family and I are deeply grateful for the excellent representation of Mr. Popplewell. He was totally committed from day one to getting the felony charges lifted and I now am able to continue to pursuit my dreams. I highly recommend Mr. Popplewell to anyone facing a similar situation.
