Last May I was thrown into an emergency situation in regards to my infant nephew. I was told the only way to help was to get a lawyer and go through the legal means to seek temporary guardianship of him. Julie McCarver was the first and only person that came to mind. I had previously met her through her husband when he was a lawyer and had hired her a few years prior for a different issue. She was prompt to get things started with the courts. She always was very sincere, personable, and was always there to take my phone calls to listen to my concerns. We faced many obstacles and even at times she was honest enough to tell me that she could not guarantee the outcome and would always explain what may or may not happen in my case. Julie and her staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and even went to the extent to do some digging of their own to find out information that could be helpful. This has been such a long journey. It was mentally and emotionally exhausting for me but her and her staff always provided encouragement and support. We had a total of 3 court dates and each one she handled herself professionally and ethically. She always had the best interest for my nephew and I, and was always knowledgeable and quick to think on her feet when the other lawyer wanted to throw a curve ball, so to speak. She worked closely with the guardian ad liteum, that was appointed to be my nephews lawyer, and together they did an amazing job in the court room. We just recently had the 3rd court date in February and I was awarded permanent guardianship of my nephew. No matter what the outcome would have been, Julie exceedingly met my expectations and went above and beyond in this case. When I first hired her for this case I reviewed her ratings along with the other parties lawyer, and seen someone had called Julie a "Bulldog" in the court room and if she wasn't a lawyer she would be an MMA fighter. This couldn't have described her performance any better. I would recommend Julie to anyone for anything. She is not only an amazing lawyer but such an amazing person. I trusted Julie and her instincts and never worried about anything throughout this process. I am extremely blessed and grateful for all her hard work and dedication she has to not only me, but all of her clients.

Julie was very reasonable and always kept me informed. Her billing was very fair and my case was handled within a very timely manner.

Julie has been helping me with a criminal defense case that came up while she was helping my husband with his child custody modification case. She has been so supportive and informed me early on that although she does not have much recent experience in defense, she will do what she can to prove my innocence. She helped me to obtain a defense attorney and is working with him, at no extra charge, to make sure I am represented the best possible way. She has gone above and beyond for me and regardless of my outcome, I am very pleased with her services. She is easy to talk to and has responded quickly to any concerns. I totally trust her suggestions and I would definately recommend her as a good all around attorney!

Mrs. McCarver has been very prompt and precise in her communication with me. I feel as if she has exhausted all efforts for me and my case. She has taken the time to explain my options and has worked very hard for me to obtain the best possible outcome. I would recommend her as a top attorney to anyone! In general, I'm not a very big fan of attorneys and I pretty much believe that they deserve every bad joke that's ever been told about them. Julie has been my attorney for several years now and I can honestly say that I've never once felt that she falls into that category. She is an excellent attorney, but just as important to me, she is also a good person and she has a good heart. Julie has several qualities that I admire in a person and they carry over to her professional work. Among her best qualities is that she has a strong sense of what is right and what is wrong. Too many attorneys will gladly disregard all ethics and morals in order to chase a buck. I would never believe that Julie would do that. She knows what is right and she always takes the higher road. Along with that, Julie is one of the most tenacious people I know. When she believes in something, she is like a bulldog. She absolutely will not give in. Those two qualities combined make for an excellent attorney. My case is an ongoing affair with an ex who has nothing better to do than to cause problems for me. Julie has ALWAYS been there for me throughout the never ending drama. She is never too busy to help me, she has offered me advice more times than I can count, and on some occasions when I was ready to give up, she has even been the rock that has steadied me and gave me the strength to keep going. She has more than once given me advice that ended up leading to a better outcome for me, but less money for her. That is integrity and it is very much appreciated. If she were not my attorney, I would be honored to call her my friend. We've had many successes together and we've also had a few setbacks along the way too. I've received more than one scoldings from her, she doesn't always agree with me, and a couple times things did not go our way, but never once did I doubt my choice, her ability, or her dedication to my case. I've always appreciated Julie's honesty and because of it, I always know where I stand so I am able to make the best decisions for my case. Julie has my full confidence and I intend to keep her as my attorney until either my ex straightens her act out or hell freezes over, whichever comes first.

She stepped up for me during a very difficult time in my life. I was being stalked and harassed by someone. She was so professional......yet I felt totally reassured that I was going to be ok. What a good person she is. I would highly recommend her. I have had some very brutal and totally unfair treatment by lawyers who didnt protect me. Nor were they concerned about the impact it had on my life at the time........or future ramifications that still affect my life. Julie is the best as far as I'm concerned. I would highly recommend her as a true professionsal who cares and gets the job done. She is great!!!!!

I have used this attorney for ticket, municipal cases and my custody cases. She has been my attorney since 2004 or 2005. She got me exactly what I wanted out of my custody case and now I have sole custody of my children, which is great! I would recommend this attorney for custody cases or criminal cases.
