This is basically a scam for anybody looking for real help with student loans. No one answered the first time I called the meet webcall, the second time it stopped working, they were supposed to just call me if it wasn't working, 15 mins later and four we call tries later the link finally worked, he said no one had called him (soooo you should be calling me for $200). He literally said where would you like to start even though I had given a detailed description of my situation and then when I said I wasn't sure he asked me WHAT MY FEARS WERE. This isn't therapy why don't you tell me what my options are. He basically kept putting everything on me instead of just saying I've reviewed your situation these are your options. He said repeatedly "it won't be the outcome you desire" "you'll have to put in the work". He did mention that Navient has a private loan forgiveness program but upon researching that very few loans have been forgiven. I brought up missing payment history and had to bring it up repeatedly to get him to speak about it. I had to ask him what if I sue them independently for predatory practices, basically again" it won't be the outcome you desire", like did I just pay $200 for a magic 8 ball? I should have known better when there wasn't a contact form, that he goes straight to pay me $200 (to tell you good luck so sad) BEST PART at the end of the what 12 min phone call he actually said to me it's nice to see another person with eye bags, I said yeah I have thyroid eye disease. Like seriously do not give this guy your money call someone else. I want my money back so I can call a different lawyer.

Tate Law is absolutely amazing! Tate talked straight with me about my loans and was realistic about what could be done...loved that! He and his staff are extremely responsive to emails and calls and spend the time needed explaining all the things about student loans that are ridiculously confusing...and helped me navigate this scary, overwhelming thing called "student loan debt"! I worked for Mrs. Staton in 2005-2006 it was a pleasure to work with her. Her husband Bill helped a plenty. He was a very savvy person with Microsoft. He taught me a lot. I heard he recently transition to his rest. Mrs. Stanton and her family has my condolences 🙏🏾. I Pray for comfort during this time.

I was a little skeptical that Stanley could really help, and I could not have been more wrong. After watching many of his videos, I took the plunge and retained him, which was the best decision I ever made. He explained clearly what my situation was, what I had to do (a Federal Consolidation Loan) to take advantage of the new loan forgiveness programs, prepared all the paperwork for me, and always was willing to talk or email when I was not sure that I was on the right track or had a question (the whole subject is complex, and I am glad I had a superspecialist). Be warned, his style is NOT like any other lawyer you ever met, and you can tell this from his videos - but it is so comfortable and worked for me. And the outcome: a letter this month from the Department of Education that the loans which I have been paying for 25 years will be forgiven, just as he said. Could I have done it myself, probably, but the reassurance that everything was done correctly by an expert was invaluable. If you have a student loan problem that is confusing or worrying you, he is the real deal, as advertised, so call him. No hesitation at all in this recommendation.

Without a doubt, I confidently recommend Stanley Tate. He is dedicated and knowledgeable in all aspects of student loan situations. Before I acquired his services I was distraught and drowning in student loan debt. I was a co-signer on private student loans and with the interest rates constantly increasing, there was no way I could ever pay them off. From the very first meeting, Mr. Tate explained everything in detail and gave me the confidence to move forward. He is honest, dependable and incredibly hard working. Beyond that, he has an impressive wealth of knowledge. His knowledge and expertise were a huge advantage in my situation. Mr. Tate clearly laid out the time line and was in constant communication. He was very kind and patient with all my questions. Upon reaching a settlement, I felt the huge burden was lifted. Mr. Tate was able to reduce my balance by more than 50% and guided me through every step. He also advised me with any follow up concerns such as taxes and credit issues. It is clear that Stanley Tate has a passion for helping people and would be a valuable asset to recruit.

Well, I booked a $200 for 20 min to talk about the student loans that I had. I have over $100,000 in loans. Printed out everything and got ready for my video call. I expected him to ask question and based off of my answers, recommend options. At least this is what happened with attorneys in the past. Since I am no expert and I would rely on the expert to tell me what I don't know because I don't know what I don't know. He answered the call and we just sat and stared at each other. I was a little flummoxed as to what I needed to say. I would stumble around questions I was just pulling out from my behind hoping that he would tell me something useful. I had no idea what to ask, and he did not ask me anything. He just gave me one word answers to the half baked questions I was able to get out. Not what I expected and afterward I was just as much in the dark as before the call. Is he even a real lawyer? I actually deleted this review and relooked to see if this was really the correct place since he is listed as a "bankruptcy lawyer." SMH EDIT: in looking at some of these other reviews I am actually wondering if there are not a bunch of people paid to write a good review on this guy. I did not pay $200 just to stumble over information I already knew. I paid $200 for his expertise, and the guy did not ask me a single question about my student loans. Make me wonder if he is pulling the actual honest reviews off of review sites.

Stanley Tate is a life saver. Our family was not in a position to pay over $800 a month in student loan debt and was going to have to pick up a second job to try to pay back. Thanks to Mr. Tate, my payments went from over $800 to $137.50. I cannot tell you how elated our family was to have this weight taken off of us. They are worth every penny. Thank you Tate Law!

Working with Stanley was great. He's super personal, friendly and knows his stuff. My life was too hectic and crazy and I just couldn't find the time to try and figure out all of the student loan laws. He handled everything for me. On top of that, our family went through a very sad loss and Stanley sent flowers. So kind! We just finished working together and all of my loans got forgiven. Thank you Stanley! I highly recommend!

Stanley Tate did exactly what I paid for him to do and he did exactly what he said he was going to do. He didn't try to get more money after the bill was paid even though there was still work to be done. He was professional and kind. I hope I never have to use another lawyer. If I do, I hope I find another lawyer like this guy.
