Thank you Mr.Tate. I just got word that my $47,000 of student loans have been forgiven. I have been paying on those loans for well over 20 years. To add insult to injury those loans were used to afford me the ability to get my special education teacher certification... after I had my bachelor's degree (not in education). Making an appointment to speak with Attorney Tate was the best decision I ever made! Don't hesitate. I enjoyed following him through the student loan cancellation journey. After paying on my student loans since 1993, I stumbled upon Tate Law and Stanley in the fall of 2022 when the possibility of the $20k forgiveness was a real thing. Stanley was the person who convinced me to go ahead and consolidate my loans which I had been reluctant to do. Once I did that the US Department of Education became the owner of my loans again. Fast forward to June 2023 and we know that the Supreme Court struck down Biden-Harris administration's forgiveness plan. BUT, today I woke up to notice that the USDE had discharged my loan because I had been repaying for over 25 years under the Income Driven plan. Happy tears are an understatement! Thank you 1,000 times Stanley and Tate Law, you've changed the course of everything and I am forever grateful for your help.

Mr Tate is a wonderful attorney and a wealth of information. He took his time explaining things thoroughly to me and for that alone I appreciate him. I highly recommend working with him.

Mr. Tate assisted me with my student loan issues and he found that I was eligible for a discharge. In a 15 minute consultation, he guided me on the process of having my loans discharged. Close to $200k debt went away with 30 days of me speaking with him. I found him to be very professional, extremely knowlegeable, honest and a straight shooter. I am still a member of his newsletters and continue to share his information with my family who are also struggling with their student loans. I highly recommend his services.

I have never written a review before, but had to in order to say: please think twice before working with Mr. Tate. The flashy website is enticing, but after charging $200 for a consultation and waiting over a week, he had his assistant try to move it 3 hours before. That indicates a strong likelihood of moving appointments in the future, meaning there would be no expeditious work and lots of bloated billable hours. When I said I needed time to think about whether or not I’d like to reschedule or ask for a refund because this seemed like a red flag, he immediately pulled my ability to reschedule. That is not good communication and boundaries - that’s retaliation for expressing concern. Very unprofessional.

I really don't know how I got connected to this awesome, helpful and the insightful Tate Law website. Nonetheless, I am so grateful that I did. Here is why. Reading his emails and tuning in to his free webinars - which offered guidance and recommendations, helped me get my student loan forgiven ($134,711). I got all this information free. And of course, there were times, I thought I would have to hire him.
