Upon meeting her you’ll be impressed with reputation, her knowledge and her fancy office. Once you hire her she forgets about you. My experience was horrible they contacted me often till I paid them then they stoped responding. My meeting with my ex and his lawyer was the day before our court date and was handled very poorly. I had to keep calling and reminding them that my court date was coming up. We never got to speak about what was wanted or needed, and during the meeting she was more worried about “cutting him a break.” The proper paperwork was never filed, and I never received a copy of my case like promised despite my numerous calls. It’s been a year and they immediately stoped answering calls and email. Please beware and go anywhere else.

Called Kelli Wulff at the referral of my personal attorney. I spoke with the assistant/receptionist and she scheduled me for a long distance phone consultation. At the exact time/day of our scheduled conference, I called in, the assistant answered and said one moment and I will connect you. Then 10 seconds later, she returned on the line and said Ms. Wulff "is still in Court", she will call you as soon as she gets out. BS, whatever, this review is being written ONE WEEK later, and she never bothered to call. She is unprofessional, and I certainly gave my personal attorney an earful and let him know he should think twice about referring Ms. wulff to anyone else.

BEWARE. Horrible experience. You would be better off representing yourself. Kelli has an amazing reputation. She was strategic and knowledgeable during the consultation, then nothing but disappointment thereafter. She literally did nothing for me. The entire office staff has no communication with each other. My questions consistently went unanswered. She knew nothing about my case the few times we did speak. I was promised documents that I never received. The excuse was ALWAYS that she had other cases and trials to prepare for and attend, which I get, but my case never became the priority. When going through a divorce, you need someone who will represent you and advise you of your options, not someone who completely ignores you and pushes you off to a mediator. We even filed the final settlement by affidavit because she scheduled to be out of the office the entire week of my final court date, but I wasn't informed of this until Thursday of the week prior to the date.

I have a 3 year old daughter with Autism and have spent $30,000. Came with a trail in April. After 10 months I have no visitation or rights to my daughter. They do not fight for the fathers. They don't care if you are the petitioner. And even if the mother breaks everything court order they get. They will not hold her in contempt and just keep letting her slide. They don't care if the father is in the child life and won't stand up for his rights. Save your money and find someone who REALLY fights for father and just doesn't say they do.!! I repeat do not go here.

Choosing the Cordell & Cordell law firm and being assigned to Mr. Igers Vangjeli and Ms. Pier Haen to handle my divorce made the hardest thing I've had to do in my life less stressful. Their experience and knowledge with the legal documents that were needed by the court made the process easier to deal with. They both kept me informed of what was needed from myself to make sure the settlement was fair between me and my now ex-spouse. I highly recommend Cordell & Cordell and all the staff members I came into contact with because I'm more than satisfied with my choosing this law firm.

Do not recommend. You'll get to talk to her assistant 95% of the time and then what you talk about with her assistant isn't followed through when in court.

The separation of a family is never an easy task. As the one that was surprised by my spouses decision to leave, it is especially hard. I took the time to research several different options and went into the process with a very clear picture of how I wanted things to proceed but unsure of how much of what I wanted was actually feasible. Reaching out to Cordell & Cordell, many of my surface questions were answered through chat right on the website. I quickly had an appointment scheduled with Jacqueline Ratkey. Realizing that my circumstance was someone unique with a recent move from one state to another across the country and and my spouse living in a third state, she called before our meeting to get a couple of quick details so that she would be better prepared and would not waste our allotted meeting time. She was super helpful and I was actually disappointed that she was only the on-boarding lawyer, however, she was able to place me with an amazing and very capable lawyer who has been able to help me through the special circumstances of my situation. My lawyer's name is Laura E. Smith and I honestly do not now how I would have been able to make it through this process without her and Andy Spiegal. Because of my desired profession and training in ministry, I am having to approach this process a little different than others. She has been patient and understanding, looking for ways that we are able to approach things to protect my future in ministry. Throw into all of that the fact that we are dealing with residency issues for my children and that my spouse lives in a different state, and I am so glad that she is able to provide clear direction and guidance. On top of all that she has been very respectful of my time and budget. Trying to function on a third of the income I am used to having, she has worked to not contact me more than necessary, since the time she does spend responding to me is billable, and she tries to be as succinct as possible when she does. I feel like all my concerns are heard and properly approached. It never feels like I am being pressured to do something that I am not comfortable with, even if it may not be the most optimal decision. In the same way, she makes sure that I understand the gravity of each situation. Between Laura and Andy, everything is getting filed on time and they go through everything to make sure it is done properly and are very, very fast to respond to each query I put their way. Before this process started, I only knew of lawyers from television shows and bad jokes. Because of those I have had contact with at Cordell & Cordell, I now know that lawyers truly get a bad rap. At this office, they want the best for families and they truly treat you as family. I feel cared for and listened to and I am so glad that I chose this firm to represent me and that I was assigned such an amazing lawyer in Laura!
